The Journey Has Already Begun!

The woman had been walking over to Rai at the same time, and the two would meet halfway. The woman still had her arms folded and a confident smile on her face, though her eyes were slightly lidded, a sign of being upset at having lost.

"Congratulations on winning your first bid." She said somehow knowing that this was indeed Rai's first bid. "You have some hell of a beginner's luck." The woman smiled brighter at her own statement. "By the way, my name is Ada Wong. I'm a collector of sorts. That Ambipom would have made a very good addition to my team...but a loss is a loss."

Ada moved a single strand of hair from her face. "Go, claim your prize. We will be seeing much more of each other, real soon." Ada licked her lips at Rai before moving past her and disappearing amongst the crowd of people doing auctions at the smaller booths.

"Hmp."

Rai giggled at the fact that she new it was her first bid. She couldn't blame her though seeing as how she must have shown it somehow. In the end, though, she would accept the congratulations.

"Thank you. I'll be looking forward to it."

And with that said Rai would watch Ada disappear into the crowd before walking up the stage to claim her prize.

A collector, eh?

"You're one lucky girl! You can't find an Ambipom like this one anywhere else in the Elestia Region!" The man on stage said as Rai approached. When she would hand him the money, he would hand her the pokeball.

"Be sure to treat it right, or it may not listen to you!"

"You got it!"

A promise Rai was willing to accept and carry out once she took the Pokeball up in hand while paying the money necessary to receive it. Oh how excited she was.

"Alright, Ambipom, come on out!"

The customary red energy source quickly beamed out the her new team member so that she may make its acquaintance. Looks like the Ambipom was worth the rice she paid for it as it looked pretty happy to see its new owner. She hoped it stayed that way too.

"Nice to meet you, Ambipom. Now, lets go meet the rest of the gang. Hopefully they'll be well rested."

They then set off back towards the Pokecenter, yet an odd building caught her eye on the way back. She had always seen it around yet never truly took an interest in it, until now. It was believed to be the abandon radio tower; a place she'd have to come back and visit. In the meantime however, she thought it best to continue on while adjusting her Pokedex.

As Rai made it back to the pokemon center with her newly acquired Ambipom, she would be treated to the sight of her Lucario being ogled by dozens of female Meditite. They all had hearts in their eyes as Lucario sweat dropped at the situation. His eyes caught Rai, and was obviously pleading for a little help.

"Mr. Lucario, do you have a girlfriend?" One of the Meditite would ask.

"Have you heard of our friend Media? She's totally in love with you!"

"I want to have your pups!"

The swooning psychic/fighting pokemon giggled among each other like horny school girls.

Nurse Joy: "Ah, sorry Rai! I finished treating both Lucario and Aron, but all the other Meditite I was treating seemed to have become infatuated."

"Eh, errrr.... Heh..."

He murmured. The nervous Luke didn't know how to reply to the cluster of questions being thrown at him. Still, however, he kept a sort of smile as Rai chuckled as an observer.

"Quite the ladies man I see, Luke."

She said, not only seeing the infatuation but hearing it as well being as she had just adjusted her Pokedex accordingly. Though now it was time to step in.

"Sorry guys, but it's time for Luke and I to get going."

Rai quickly crossed the area over to her pokemon, taking the pokeball that contained her Aron; Eos. She would then pat Luke on the back in the direction of the exit. He would gladly move on, only to briefly pause after seeing the Ambipom standing before him. He didn't know what it exactly was that captivated him but it did it all the same. He began moving after a few seconds once more.

"Thanks again, Nurse Joy!"

And with that they had set off to continue there journey. But, since they were already there, Rai thought that she might as well test how far she's come from being a beginner and face off against her home town's gym leader! Wait... On second thought, not just yet...

Her movements had been shaky and her ears deaf to her surroundings as Rai made her way out of the Radio Tower and down the street in the darkness of night.  Her immediate thought was to go towards the Pokecenter to as her pokemon were in dire need of assistance. It would be a stretch, but she’d soon hear the familiar jingle most trainers should be used to.

“Help…”

She managed to say over the pain of her bruised insides moving around. The pain was was quite intense yes. So intense that she had actually forgotten that she was in pain. All she could think about was the safety of her pokemon. Such a bloody return...

The young Nurse Joy was taking care of another Pokemon Trainer's team with the trademark smile and elegance as always while speaking the traditional line of every Nurse Joy all over Elestia. The trainer thank her with much compliment as she blushes and smiles before he/she tends to rest for the night in one of the vacant rooms. The doors slide open and she prepare to welcome the next visitor.

"Welcome to the Pokemon Cent-"

Before she could even finish the sentence, she gasped and covered her mouth to suppress her scream once she saw Rai enters in critical condition. She quickly pressed the emergency button right next to the registration computer to alert Chansey and her mother to the main entrance. She quickly rushes into the back towards the medical room to setup the healing machine while Mother Joy and Chansey rushes out with a hospital bed. The two scoops up Rai and rest her on the mobile bed.

"Code Blue! We got a critically wounded trainer that needs immediate medical attention!"

The Nurse Joy and the Chansey rushes Rai into the back of the medical lab with rapid speed, making sure that every second isn't wasted upon losing a human life. The young Nurse Joy got the healing machine operational and ready to go. The other two place Rai into the recovery bed as the healing machine begins to tend to any critical wounds to numb the pain and reduce the damage flow while rending on any shattered bones. The nurses began the surgical part of the operation at the same time to carefully secure any internal and external wounds as well manually. They've use every single inch of their medical knowledge and machinery to keep Rai alive.

Three hours has passed by and the operation was a success. They've manage to save Rai's life from the brink of death. Now the only thing that is left is for her to rest.

The light was harsh on her eyes as Rai slowly became conscious. She had actually thought she was dead for a moment because of its intensity, but that was until her eyes started to adjust. Soon a clear image of the Pokecenter ceiling could be soon along with the rest of the room she was in.

"Hmm... Where am I?"

She spoke while sitting up to look around and stretching her limbs a bit to relieve her of the stiffness she felt. It hadn't occurred to her to think about how long it had been as it didn't really matter much. Hell she couldn't even remember where she was or how she got here for the moment. What did matter, however, is what she could never forget about; her pokemon.

The thought of them struck her as swift as the wind ran, but she had no idea where they could be in her sense of urgency. Regardless, she'd proceed to climb out of her bed unaware of her current health status.

Chansey and Young Nurse Joy walks in the medical room where Rai was resting to check up on the patient, noticing that she is trying to get out of the bed while slowly recovering and goes over to set herself back on the bed.

"Please don't strain yourself, Ms. Rai. You still need to rest up so the remaining wounds can heal."

The Young Nurse Joy brushed over Rai's head to check on any signs of illness along the way, smiling lightly and sighing in relief to see that she survived another day. She place her attire and equipment on the side of the bed and her Pokemon Belt right next to her. Every single of her Pokemon is fully healed and resting in their Poke Balls.

"Thank goodness you're still alive. When you came in the Pokemon Center last night, you and your Pokemon were severely damaged and in a near fatal condition. We was afraid that you weren't going to make it."

Chansey: "Chansey~!"

The moment Nurse Joy and her Chansey walked in the room Rai would feel almost immediately relieved of her tension. She knew now where she was and that her pokemon had been in capable hands. In compliance with her, Rai would get back on the bed and lay back as she was physically inspected.

It was only when she was told what had happened yesterday that her memory started to come back. What she had put her pokemon through and, ultimately, what she had done to the Dusclops she had faced. Ugh... She couldn't think of that stuff now. It was time for her to get herself situated.

"Listen, Nurse Joy, I'm perfectly fine. Thanks for all you've done, but I really must get going soon."

Young Nurse Joy and Chansey really wanted her to rest more for a full recovery, but the determination of Rai proved to them that even the toughest of dangers won't stop this trainer from continuing on with her journey. She only bow to her with the same trademark smile like always. Chansey does the same alongside Nurse Joy before the two returns back to their regular daily schedule of tending to others and their Pokemons.

"Then I wish you the best of luck on your journey, Ms. Rai. Please be careful along with your Pokemon."
