"No... Don't..."
The words were rough coming out, the sight of the Dusclops fading causing her to pick up in the pace. Sadly this would be to no avail as she clutched onto its outstretched hand only to find it slip through hers and into darkness.
And now this was the part where the despair took hold, buckled her knees and brought her to tears, but not now. She'd seen enough death in such a short time. Enough to where there was just no point to crying over it anymore. What she did do however, was silently promise to carry out its dying wish. It was the least she could do to honor its noble cause. Now, with the area restored, it was time to leave as she left the way she came in to the best of her ability in such a damaged condition.
