Luna Mountain, To Dusk City!

*A1 managed to telegraph its attack by its glowing call. Seeing as it was about to do something to harm him Kai immediately rolled to the side in order to dodge the mud-slap attack. Shaker used this as the opportune time to jump on Kaito after he rolled and jump over the Aron that tried to tackle him. After Shaker did, he'd immediately close in for a Bite attack.*

Kaito: "Man whatever is causing this needs to be stopped..."

A1 seethed at its missed attack and choose to charge in for a tackle instead. However, Larvitar would land before it could reach its trainer and take the tackle instead. Both pokemon would be able to stand their grounds due to their weight and Larvitar's bite attack would go through. However, it wasn't very effective. Aron would shake Larvitar off and mud slap it at point blank range, dealing super effective damage. However, such a weak move and with Aron's incredibly low special attack, Larvitar wouldn't take too much damage to hinder its battle capability.

A2 was being scratched all over by Monferno and the level difference showed that Monferno was getting more hits in than Aron was able to deal with, showing in the fact that the pokemon was starting to look worse for wear. However, it wasn't enough to make Aron stop and just like the one before it, would mud slap Monferno at point blank range for supper effective damage.

A3, the last Aron was annoyed that its target had moved out the way. However, now Kaito was closes to it. With a resolute growl, Aron attempted to tackle Kaito before he could get up.

Minami would have made it to Kaito by now and seeing him not getting up in time to dodge the tackle, she jumped in front of him and drew her kodachi, clashing it against Aron's head and howling out in pain as she felt her wrist jolt painfully from the impact. However, the Aron should be stopped for the moment, even if the kodachi only did minimal, almost non-existent damage. Her palm would start bleeding from the force. A tackle from one of these Aron would definitely put them out of commission if they weren't careful.

Raze had a small problem as well as the mud slap did a bit of damage but seemed to cloud over its eyes. It backed away, rubbing at its eyes and growled at the Aron. It would attempt to continue what its trainer had said and go back to fury swiping the Aron, even through blurry eyes.

*Hearing Minami howl out in pain sparked something in Kaito, that angered him to a certain extent and caused him to leap up to his feet. Once he did, he'd quickly grab Minami's kodachi from out her hand, and swung it, but on the blunt side of the sword so it wouldn't cut the Aron by accident. In a sense Kaito was using it as a blunt weapon and aimed to smack the little guy over to the side.*

*Shaker, feeling the sparked anger withing Kaito boil up scowled even thought it was blinded a little by the Mud-slap. Opening its giant maw, Shaker went in for a furious Bite attack. The two were already close to each other so it would be a miracle if the Aron dodged the attack, then again Shaker was blinded a little by the mud-slap.*

Unfortunately, Monferno's attack would miss, and leave it open for a tackle attack from Aron. The attack did more damage than a single one of Monferno's scratches did, but the more experienced pokemon showed its toughness by holding its ground and attacking back with fury swipes.

A2 was once again subject to Larvitar's fangs, but it just didn't do nearly as much as they wanted it to. Aron was easily able to shake off the pokemon once again and tackle it at point blank range, dealing not very effective damage, but still doing damage non-the less.

A3 was surprised to be stopped by Minami's blade. However, when Kaito moved around her and took the blade out of her hand, he hurt her just a bit more, gaining another yelp from the girl. He slammed the blunt end of the short sword against Aron's head which wouldn't even flinch the pokemon, but it would recoil on Kaito's hand, making him drop the blade from the sudden force of vibration. However, the blade itself would snap clean in half. Kaito was inexperienced with the weapon and hadn't realized Minami was only able to stop the Aron by precisely using the blade itself on the central point to balance the force out, though hurting herself in the process. The blades side was the weakest part of the blade.

The blade impaled in the ground right next to Aron. The small pokemon found interest in the blade for a moment.

Just as stated, Monferno would continuously attack with fury swipes, further draining Aron's health with nothing but its sheer level advantage.

Minami, on the other hand, screamed out.

"NO!"

Her cry was piercing as she watched the blade break against Aron's extremely hard and sturdy body. The pain in her wrist was forgotten and she lunged for the blade, cutting her hand as she grabbed it out the ground. Tears fell from her eyes as she picked up the broken handle as well.

"No! No, no! This can't be happening!"

*Seeing the blade snap clean in half caused Kaito to cringe. He acted to brashly out of anger and caused her weapon to be broken while at the sametime hurting Minami. Kai understood he'd be yelled at and guilted for this, but it had to be later. Minami was crying and probably unaware of how close she was to the Aron. Kaito called out to Shaker for he had another plan.*

Kaito: "Quick Shaker! Keep up that biting pressure! And Minami I know this is like the worst time to say this but I'm sorry!"

*Shaker would have nodded then came upon the Aron again using another Bite attack. Kai would have rushed to Minami's side and did something that just popped up in his brain. The Aron's body was covered in armor, everything except its eyes. Taking his index and middle finger, Kaito tried jabbing the Aron in the eyes to hurt it a little more than they tried after all of their attempts.*

The Aron that had been fixated on the blade suddenly shook its head. Then it was poked in the eye, sending it into a fit of pain as it rolled about on the ground, unable to rub its eye since its legs were so stubby.

A2 was once again subject to Larvitar's bite and by now, both pokemon would be feeling strong sings of fatigue. With both of them doing not every effective damage, this battle was being drawn out and the Aron flinched at the bite attack this time, too tired to keep its will to fight up.

A1 was finally trying to back away from Monferno as the fury swipes hurt it to the point where it was barely conscious. All three Aron had been worn down, though A3 was only in pain temporarily from being poked in the eye.

Minami held the broken blade in one hand and stood to her feet, not caring what was happening around her anymore. Instead, she pulled out a greatball and turned, throwing it straight at A2. She looked at Monferno with tears in her eyes.

"INCINERATE IT!"

She screamed and Monferno looked at its trainer with shock. However, after seeing the tears on her face and the blood dripping from her hands as she gripped the broken kodachi, it prepared to do the deed. It spewed fire from its mouth and began to spin, preparing for a powerful flame wheel that would torch and undoubtedly kill the Aron.

*Kaito grew pale at the sound of Minami's sudden command to incinerate the pokemon. He gulped and prepped a pokeball to capture A3. Something deep down in his heart told him that the little Aron was going to suffer a lot more if he didn't catch it. Shaker jumped away and back at Kai's feet while Kai threw the pokeball, hoping to capture him so that he doesn't have to suffer a worse fate.*

Kaito: "Come on catch him..."

The first Aron would be completely obliterated by Monferno's flame wheel. Monferno would stop and look at its trainer sadly for making it do such a thing.

The second Aron would be snapped shut inside the pokeball before it shook.

The pokeball stopped moving, Aron being successfully captured. The last Aron was able to recover in time just to see one of its mates killed and the other captured in a pokeball. It was about to try to run away until it felt its own body taken into a pokeball. Aron's will shone through though, as the ball didn't even shake once before it burst open. Aron shook its head, disoriented from the feeling of trying to be captured. It wasn't fast enough to try to run away again though.

Minami wouldn't wait for Kaito to attempt another capture. She would slowly walk behind the Aron before kneeling over it from behind. She grabbed its head and shoved the broken blade deep into its eye, piercing its brain and killing it instantly. The Aron would have bled out in seconds anyway. She drew the blade out the pokemon and stood up straight. Slowly, she turned around to look at Kaito, a dead and dark glare on her face.

"..."

She didn't speak. Instead, she placed the broken kodachi into her bag and began to heal herself.

*Kaito merely watched in complete horror. He shook and trembled and reached out towards it in a feeble attempt to save it. However, in the end it was futile as Minami killed it right in front of him. Kaito quickly returned Shaker to his ball and picked it up returning it to its ball. Kai made eye contact with Minami and literally froze. He wanted to go pick up the failed pokeball seeing as it didn't catch the Aron, but she was there and she was obviously hating him. His lips quivered and he tried his best to speak out.*

Kaito: "M-Minami... I'm so very sorry... I, I acted on impulse after seeing you hurt... I... I know nothing I'll say will make you forgive me its just that... I wanted to protect you."

*He gritted his teeth balled up his hands into fists. Kaito was scared of what she was going to say or do, but either way he prepared himself for whatever she would throw at him.*

With the Aron out of the way, the two were capable of moving on now. No other wild pokemon were visible in the area. The three Aron had wandered very far from their nest.

Minami turned towards Kaito and took a step forward, further crushing the destroyed pokeball he had wasted on the Aron. She walked towards him, her cold glare directly in his gaze and her fist clenched even though there was no emotion on her face. She walked right past Kaito and returned Monferno to its ball, not caring for its expression as it tried to express its feelings to her. Without stopping, she continued onward, even if Kaito was no longer following.

*Each step Minami took felt like someone was strangling him harder and harder. When she crushed the pokeball under her foot, he snapped to his feet. Trembling, he knew he couldn't do anything should she decide to hurt him. All he could do was tremble, turn around, and follow behind Minami. He followed with his head down and was still very pale. Kai didn't know what to say and put his hand around the moon and sun necklace and softly said a name along with a small and silent plea.*

Kaito: "Gemini.... What do I do?"

Minami took out a repel and sprayed it all over. She didn't feel like battling anymore pokemon for a while, and she knew she would just let her anger take over and hurt them too. Even if she didn't show it, she was crying on the inside for the two Aron she had mercilessly killed. What was she supposed to say to the Aron she had caught once she started training her? How would she explain that she had murdered her own pokemon's siblings?

"This kodachi...was the only thing I have to remember of my grandfather...it was passed down in my family for over 200 years and has been taken care of and handled by only us in the Oviedo family..."

She said to Kaito to make him understand exactly why she was upset with him. She knew she couldn't downright hate him though. He hadn't known the blade would snap and he was just trying to protect her in the first place. But the pain she felt from seeing such a precious item of her family snap just like that destroyed her. She wouldn't forgive him, just not yet.

*As they walked, Kaito was already being haunted by the images. He didn't realize how much reality would be thrown at him at once during this journey. In all honesty he wanted to throw up and feared for the safety of Shaker. However, he understood that things like this would happen a lot more and he'd had to be at the top of his game in order to defend Shaker and himself.

After the explanation of what the kodachi was, Kaito felt even worse and grew even paler in the face. He could understand how something like that would deeply upset her and knew that her feelings were just. He took several deep breaths before speaking out again.*

Kaito: "I know what that feels like... I really do. I'm just terribly sorry I can't do anything to help fix it or what. I'm... an idiot..."

*Kaito gripped his necklace tighter and looked up once again. He was still very scared, pale, and trembling. Kai really didn't know what else to do at this point.*

Repel Turn 1

"Kaito, I need you to promise me something. If we are in danger, don't worry about me. Just leave me if I'm ever in trouble, or I'll never forgive you."

It was a mixed message. There were definitely reasons for why she acted the ways she did, even when Kaito had grabbed her back in Luna Mountain Town. She wasn't ignoring Kaito anymore either, but she walked a good distance away from him and refused to look at him. The hurt in her voice was still there but it was obvious she didn't want him to just leave right now. They would continue travelling together in the cave, but once they were to Dusk City, who knew what would happen.

*Kaito frowned at the request, he just couldn't do that. It didn't make sense for him to leave someone behind if they were in trouble. Kai didn't know how to answer that. Deep down though, he knew that Minami was strong enough to handle herself. Something he should have realized back in that last situation.*

Kaito: "...I promise..."

*He would let her walk the distance she had between them, the hurt in her voice still there. Kaito didn't expect her to be well so easily, in fact he knew she would be upset about this for a very long time. He'd close his eyes as he walked and tried to get himself under control.*

Repel Turn 2

As the two made there way deeper into the cave, they would have no choice but to take another left path as the right path was a small body of water that they would not be able to cross without surf. Ahead of them lead to the Mountain Route 2 area, but a boulder that looked as if it could be smashed was in the way. The only other path was to the left and then another left that lead into the main area of the cave where people usually held pokemon battles. It was like a maze for real and they now had another choice of which way to go. West or South.
