The Truth Lies Beyond the Dusk

Snow entered into the dank and dark Dusk City with just as much enthusiasm as any other trainer that needed to travel through the lawless city. Before he had even reached the dilapidated sign that crudely said 'Welcome to Dusk City HELL BITCHES!' he could already hear gun fire and shouts. With a sigh, he continued on into the town, seeing the citizens move about with the same amount of depression as he, though they seemed used to the outburst and sounds of violence.

'This place sucks...'

Snow thought as he made it to the abandoned fountain near the Luna Mountain exit of the town. The place looked more like a trash heap. But Snow as still a scavenger, so a small smile found its way onto his face. Another man's trash was another man's treasure.

Like all the other Trainers that travel, Dusk City is not the friendliest and hunky-dory place to stand around and make new friends among the area. The entire city is currently being cleaned up by the Mayor's Bodyguards and sanitary services to keep the area at least "bearable" to keep a "good" image for the Dusk. However, with all of the constant violence and gunshots bursting about, it is mainly just a ploy to tax hike the citizens living there for every last cent. One of the citizens spoke quietly to one another.

"Looks like the city is cleaning up from the riot recently, huh?"

"Just another day in the Dusk, bro. All they're doing is just taking more of our money at our own expense."

"Shit! Shouldn't we rebel against the mayor?"

"And end up like all of those Jennies? I rather get shot by a Poke Crackhead instead."

No one really enjoy the typical bullshit that goes on within Dusk City, but they're limited down to what they have on their backs so its the standard norm for them. As Snow heads to the abandoned fountain and scavenge about, he would find several items lying in the abandoned fountain. It would be packs of five items of each: Proteins, Zincs, Carbos, Rare Candies, HP Up, PP Up, Iron, and Calcium! HOLY SHIT!!!
SNOW JUST HIT THE JACKPOT IN THIS DAMNATION OF A TOWN!!!

Snow looked around, making sure no one was around that would notice his sudden spike in happiness.

"Oh shit! What type of homeless people can afford this?"

Without hesitating, he scooped up all the loot, (hehe, beautiful beautiful loot!) and rushed to the pokemon center. He had already pocketed all of the items.

After scavenging the GLORIOUS MASTER RACE LOOT, Snow begins to rush towards the Pokemon Center without any hesitation. He knocked down a crackhead who was smoking a fancy pipe that he recently stolen from a rich dude which made the crackhead cry once the pipe broke into pieces. Once arrived at the Pokemon Center, the lazy Nurse Joy would be seen manicuring her fingernails with her eyes halfway closed. Her uniform in a sloppy manner and her hat crumbled up. She clearly doesn't give any fucks at all about the Pokemon Center, let alone the customers since she's getting paid for it anyway. It's still surprising on how she survived during the riot brigade against the Mayor. She spoke half-ass her motto once Snow walked in.

"Welcome to the Pokemon Center where we yada yada yada whoop pe doo."

Snow would look at Nurse Joy with a tired expression of his own. He didn't fault her for acting the way she did. If he lived in this city he wouldn't be cheerful anyway. But instead of going to the nurse, he would turn to the armor encased pokemart stand.

"Hey, can I get 3 pokeballs, 4 full heals, and 5 potions please?"

While he was speaking to the armor encased Pokemart, Snow would realize that the mart is temporarily being runned by an automatic vending machine. A sign just to the left of it would read:


The vending machine took note of his request and automatically cough the requested items for Snow. The items remained inside the sealed door until he pay through the cash holder. The machine spoke out.

"Bzzzt~! That would be 3900pk in total. Would you like to purchase George Takai's cologne "EAU MY" for about 250pk more?"

Snow would raise an eyebrow at the machine, but instead of speaking up on it, he would merely pay for his items and decline the cologne.

"Fuck George Takai. He's always after my Lucky Charms..."

Snow would take his items and leave the pokemon center. Right away, he would head a few buildings down to the Gym. He was ready to take on Shinta!

"Come back when I could give a fuck....Which is none."

Nurse Joy have said once Snow left out the Pokemon Center, posing her hand out and spreading her fingers to check on the nails. Yep, just another day for this Joy. Meanwhile, in Dusk City, our protagonist runs about towards the Gym to take on Shinta. Luckily, no hostility was in the way within Dusk City since it was still cleaning up the mess so today is a day for peace for once.

.....Until gunshots are heard......

As Snow enters the Gym, the doors would close instantly right behind him in a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time manner. You know, that one room where you've enter the boss room and you're locked in to 1v1 the boss for the glorious bragging rights and prize? Oh, you kids and your unappreciated values in life! Anyway, the entire gym would be engulfed into darkness except for the entrance and the maze. Standing near the wall, one of the Gym Advisors would be seen bobbing his head with some music playing through his headphones. Unaware of Snow's presence.
