On the road to Sunset Town!

As Haruka trails down the road to continue her journey as a Pokemon Trainer, she would soon reach towards the small riverbed flowing out fresh spring water. Crossing it would be a hassle due to the riverbed's current speed and the depth of how deep the bottom is. Not only that, but there is Pokemon swimming around in the riverbed with some others roaming around the small grass isles of the river. Luckily, there is a bridge for many to cross over to get to the other side. The bridge is quite sturdy and antique from the fore founders of New Moon Village and Sunset Town.

With her unceremonious behavior, and overall lack of tact, Haruka would rush over to the river edge and shout at all the nearby pokemon.

"If you think you're tough enough, come get some of this! Me and Ace will take all of you down and grow stronger than even the Elite 4! Hahahaha!"

She put her hand under her chin with her other hand on her hip as she did a maniacal laugh reminiscent of many anime characters. Treecko wished it knew poison jab so that it could knock its trainer out and just drag her to a mental institute somewhere, but that wasn't to be. Instead Treecko got in front of it's trainer, knowing that a battle would be imminent because of the big mouthed girl.

The loud shout that Haruka burst out for any of the Pokemon to take her on has responded back with their own challenge. From the riverbed would burst out three orange fishes that would splash on the water several times to strike them down with blasts of water while saying out their names many times with each splash.

"Karp! Karp! Karp! Karp! Karp!"

Haruka faceplanted at the sight of the Magikarp. Even Treecko face palmed at the 'threat'. With a sigh, Haruka pointed at the strongest one.

"Pokeball go?"

She called and tossed the pokeball at the pokemon with all the enthusiasticness of D'Raven being told to make friends.

"Just faint the other two so we can get a real challenge Ace..."

The dumb Magikarp had come on land where all they could do was splash about. Going over to the lower leveled Magikarp, Treecko used absorb on them both, replenishing its own health while doing super effective grass damage to the two pokemon.

"That girl...She's.. Intriguing to say the Most...I wonder..."

He spoke Gothita tugging at him to Follow the Girl so she could keep Gawking at her Treecko. Having to admit he was interested in them two as well he decided to indulge her...After following her he noticed she was involved in yet ANOTHER poke-battle.

"Man this girl i s Glutton for Vulgarity it seems"

He said this time he was treading in the tall grass...he though wasn't paying attention to the fact that pokemon to resided in the grass..he just wanted to catch a glimsp of her next battle before he moved on to other things.

The third Magikarp continued to splash several times until the Poke Ball clack the orange fish on its head and begins the capturing process. The opportunity of obtaining a Magikarp is quite high since their sense of escape is quite terrible in every way possible. However, due to the creature not being weakened, it may have an EXTREMELY SLIM chance to escape from the Pokeball.


Congratulations! Haruka is now a proud owner of a Magikarp!

Exp Gained: 2

In the meantime, Haruka's Treeko easily swipe away the Magikarp's health down into completely fainting them in one go thanks to the super-effective difference between grass and water types. The remaining two fish Pokemon attempts to splash some more, but to no avail. All they could do was just pass out and breathe in air as they flop on the ground. Unable to last long on the surface due to being a fish type that needs water to survive. Victory goes to Treeko.....Sorta.

Exp Gained: 60 (25 + 35)

Haruka fumed and looked back at the water.

"Alright! Are there any USEFUL pokemon that want to challenge me?"

Haruka's heart suddenly beat irregularly. She coughed and held her chest, dropping to a knee. Taking a moment to catch her breath, she frowned. Treecko saw its trainer and walked over to her after kicking the Magikarp back into the water with worry.

"I'm fine...I don't know what that was."

She stood back up and cleared her throat. Instead of dwelling on what had just happened, she walked closer to the river edge and spoke in a more subdued voice.

"Come on. There has to be more here."

When Haruka steep further towards the river edge, she would notice a small weed bush idling about in the water until it began to move. The green leaf petal began to fold it sides a bit before slowly surfacing upward to see Haruka, playfully squirting some water out of the bottom of its yellow beak at her.

Haruka would giggle uncharacteristically girly. She knelt down by the rivers edge and smiled at the Lotad.

"Wow, I know you! My mom has a Ludicolo! You're the first form right? Heya, my name's Haruka! I want to battle you while listening to epic Persona music in the background!"



"Whenever you're ready Ace!"

Treecko listened to its trainer speak a little sense and then do something stupid again. It was already wanting out of this relationship but instead of showing its opinion it took a fighting stance.

The Lotad playfully cheer out its name a few times from seeing Haruka speak to her. When she said the word battle, the water weed Pokemon misheard it as "play a little game" and nod at her. Before they begin, the Lotad let out a burst of mist all around itself and some about two feet around the area to hide itself. She thought that they would play a game of Hide and Seek with Haruka's Treeko instead, but that doesn't mean that they can throw a few tag punches here and there. The Lotad kept itself hidden within the mist while playfully splashing water all around to signalize that the game has begun.

Haruka frowned at the Lotad. How could it mistake battle for play? It wasn't a baby so its nature must have been more happy like. Seeing that this might take a while, Haruka picked up a rock. Tossing it into the water to make Lotad think Treecko had jumped in after it, she would run towards the bridge to get an overhead view of the water. Ace would scan through the mist looking for the pokemon. It gently dipped its foot in and picked up another rock like it's trainer had done. It tossed another rock a few feet away from where Haruka had thrown hers, indicating Treecko's movement. In this fashion, it should seem like Treecko was moving around near the middle of the river, closer to the other side, which should make Lotad move closer to Treecko instead of away from it to avoid the sounds of the rocks hitting the water.

The hidden Lotad notice the rocks being tossed in the air towards his location inside the mist and would playfully catch each one with its lily pad. There were a few that smacked it which did scare it for a bit along with a few splashes, but it still was quite fun to him as well. Inside the mist, the Lotad notice Treeko moving a bit closer towards the mist to find her. She would creep a bit closer and attempt to scare Ace with an astonish attack. The Lotad blends itself in with the mist and create an illusion ghost to surprise the Treeko with a startling roar towards him. The roar would echo as a sound blast to strike him down and may cause him to flinch as well.

"Fuck it!"

Haruka yelled and tossed her pokeball at the Lotad once she saw it using astonish on Treecko. It had to be directly in front of Treecko to use it, and Treecko had been expecting the pokemon, but it would still flinch at the ghost attack.

The pokeball capture was timed so that even if Lotad broke free of the pokeball, Ace would be ready to attack it right back by grabbing it and using Absorb, latching on to it so it couldn't escape.

The Poke Ball taps Lotad on the top of its lily pad and captures it, attempting to make a clean getaway. However, being the happy-go-lucky nature that the water weed Lotad is, it though of the attempt as a fun ball instead. The Poke Ball begin to wiggle a few times to see if the capture is a success.


Dang! It's a fighter alright! The Lotad comes back out cheerful and bliss as it cheers out its name a few times for Haruka playing catch with him. Suddenly, Treeko leech himself on the Lotad and begin to absorb its energy to weaken it and heal himself. Unfortunately, being the same type as a secondary, it would hurt normally unlike other water types. The Lotad would let out a light yell from the absorption and realize that they weren't aiming to play. It would then attempt to absorb back its lost energy by using the same move as well, sapping it out by using its lily pad to leech off the Treeko's body.

Haruka's expression would change once the Lotad burst out of the pokeball. She jumped over the bridge side and called a command. At the same time she would hurl another pokeball, intent on capturing the Lotad now.

"Pound it this way Ace!"

Treecko would nod, not feeling any pain at the weak drain from Lotad. It would turn and smash its tail into Lotad with a pound attack and send it at the airborne pokeball.

The Lotad regained a small amount of its health back from absorption, but not enough to greatly damage the Treeko for being the same type as the ability. The pounding tail, however, made a critical strike against the Lotad which sent it flying high in the sky with low health. At the EXACT same time, the Poke Ball would hit it on its face instead and began the process once more. Since its weakened, the chance would be much higher to capture.

With Lotad captured, Haruka wiped sweat from her brow. Not wanting to stay any longer in the area, she motioned Treecko over and crossed the bridge, ready to get the hell off this route. She hadn't gained nearly as much experience as she hoped she would but even Haruka with her boundless energy could get frustrated. She walked towards Sunset Town, avoiding the grass if she could.

The skies begin to shade down into a crimson red-orange peak with a few clouds roaming above, the sun slowly begins to set down, but it's actually still around morning time. This change of appearance would resemble that Haruka and Ace are nearby Sunset Town. Just a little bit more walking and they will be cleared from Route 2.

Haruka continued on, hopefully making it to Sunset Town. She wasn't naive about the strangeness that was Sunrise and Sunset town's day and night effects. Sunset town was beautiful, seeming to always be in the Twilight. (Twilight Town is definitely the theme for this town. XD)

Cue the Route Cleared Music!

"Well...that served as some form of entertainment...Come Thita...perhaps we should engage in some battle before we set off."

Thita smiled as she watched the Duo set off int the horizon...she was star stricken by the Treecko and wanted to become strong just like it. Shabuto and Gothita were already traveling through the Tall grass and just kept on going on thier way being vigilant of thier surroundings rewady for something to come at them as they passed through.
