We're Back... Again...

*Bump! Kai had bumped into the woman by accident, stumbled a little, and chuckled a little (for no reason, too). Kaito shook his wild haired head a little, and smiled at the woman.*

Kaito: "Oh no no, don't apologize, I should have been looking where I was going."

*Kai found himself looking up at the woman due to her stature. He chuckled a little, realizing that they both said the same thing, however, Kaito felt he was more at fault. Her clothing was much much different from his own, she looked like an extremely rich person. Just who was she, and what was she doing in these parts?*

Kaito: "Are you looking for something? We don't get as many visitors around here, so I'm just curious, if you don't mind."

*He was hoping that he wasn't too informal, usually his curiosity did get the best of him. In any case, Kaito turned his head slightly to see if Jade was still around, she was. Jade looked really serious, though. She stared at the lady, then looked down to Kaito, and nodded at him probably due to him apologizing for bumping into the woman.*

Minami stood speechless at the person before them. Her eyes were wide but her mouth was shut. She trembled just a bit, knowing exactly who they were in the presence of. Her mind couldn't comprehend why she was there though. Seeing Jade say nothing, Minami remained silent as well.

Cynthia noticed the two female of the group, and knew they both knew of her. She was a little saddened the young male did not recognize her, though she never went throwing her title around anyway. However, she did take note of the power radiating from all three present.

'Two Aura Users and a Medic...Steven was right, this region is full of surprises.'

Her thoughts were interrupted as she noticed something about the youngest two though. She saw their wrist...

"Pokedex?!"

She blurted out suddenly. Her change in demeanor was sudden, but she recomposed herself just as fast. Standing still for a moment, knowing that the three would show confusion, Cynthia suddenly smiled.

"My name is Cynthia. Cynthia Sinclair. I'm the previous champion of the Sinnoh region. I'm here to visit my old friend Granite and Prof. Jupiter in New Moon Village. You two should stop by and see him at some point."

Her smile seemed to grow a bit more.

"I'm also interested in pokedex wielders such as yourselves. The first time I lost as Champion was to a pokedex wielder you see. If you don't mind, would you entertain me to a short battle? I have a new friend who needs some exercise."

Her gaze lingered on Kaito, as he was the one she was challenging.

*Kaito's eyes widened a little. A champion!? Here in this very region!? Talking to them about... Stuff!? No way, this couldn't be real, this just couldn't be real! Kaito's excitement started to boil up, and his eyes grew big, along with a bigger smile. However, he was shocked when the woman yelled out "Pokedex." That was a little sudden, but it made Kaito chuckle.*

Kaito: "I'm Kaito. Kaito Inaki! Nice to meet you, Cynthia! I'm going to be the next champion of Elestia! I didn't know you knew Granny Granite... That's so... Cool! Guys guys, she's a champion from another region!"

*He said, excitedly turning to both Minami and Jade. Jade giggled to her self, and softly shook her head. She didn't expect him to know who Cynthia was, but still, that's kind of important if you're a trainer. Kaito was bouncing ever so happily, this was a really cool moment. Kai listened to her story of how she was champion before being bested by another trainer who held pokedexes much like themselves. Kaito was immediately interested, and even more excited when she asked for a short battle. He saw her eyes catch his, and his caught hers. Kai's multi-colored eyes glistened happily, and he was more than ready to go.*

Kaito: "Battle? With you? I'd be honored to do so!"

Cynthia would smile at Kaito's eagerness to battle, even after learning who she was. Pokedex wielders were always the most fun to battle, though she would never admit to that bias type opinion. With a flourish of colors, her aura would explode around her, visible to even those who were not Aura Users. It was powerful, consuming almost. The raw power behind her was like a powerful blizzard ready to blow everything before her away. This was the power of a champion!

"Prepare yourself Kaito!"

She called before leaping backwards, clearing a 20 meter distance in a single bound. At the same time she had already thrown her pokeball. In a dazzling display of red light, the pokemon emerged forth from its pokeball.

Kaito: "Whoa!"

*In response to Cynthia's large jump. Her power was indeed... Powerful. Being able to see the aura, both Jade and Kaito widened their eyes in surprise. Jade even wondered if Kaito understood the pressure that was being exuded from Cynthia. He, on the other-hand, was so excited that her showing her aura was an even bigger honor.*

Kaito: "Alright then! Ride The Winds of Fate! Go Aeolus!"

*Aeolus was the first to be sent out against Cynthia's Dragonair. The female bird flipped her comb, then cried out. She could feel the strength within the trainer and the pokemon, something that excited just as much as Kaito. She was rip roaring and ready to go.*

Kaito: "Whip up a violent wind, Whirlwind!"


*With the command given, Aeolus cried out then took to hovering in the air. Her wings began to flap faster and faster with each beat, and soon she began to create a rather large amount of wind that slowly began to spin and spin, until it formed a very large whirlwind. However, it wouldn't be launched, instead it stayed there continuing to build in strength.*

Cynthia watched intently at the movements of Kaito's bird. She could tell they were still very inexperienced, even compared to the newly evolved Dragonair she was using. She noted the extravagant colors of the bird as well, marveling its beauty while also planning her counter attack. She allowed the whirlwind to be made even though Dragonair was faster than Pidgeotto, however, she would not let it remain. She wanted to see what Kaito would do.

"Araelia, stop its whirlwind! Use twister in the opposite direction."

Her call was clear and precise, no code words or anything. A simple command and straight to the point. Just as she called, Dragonair would screech out majestically before showing its speed and causing a sonic boom as it darted from the ground straight at Pidgeotto. It used the wind it was already building from its attack to move faster before it started circling the area above Pidgeotto and its attack, in a much bigger radius. It began to speed up until a small twister began to form over Pidgeotto, making its whirlwind die out since the wind was spinning in the opposite direction now. The twister would whip at Pidgeotto, tossing it too and fro within the confines of the stationary storm.

Kaito: "Whoa, what incredible speed! Don't worry about this, Aelous, we still got it! Quick Attack, let's go!"

*Aeolus was getting tossed to and fro indeed, but it wouldn't remain that way. Aeolus fought to regain her composure, and once she did, she flapped her wings fiercely in order to launch herself upwards to get on equal level with the Dragonair. Once she did, Aeolus saw the time to strike, as the Dragonair should be finishing the spinning motion, slowing down, and possibly leaving itself vulnerable. Aeolus sped fast, going left to right, before attempting to hit the Dragonair with her poweful beak.*

Kaito's quick attack would prove effective as the bird pokemon sped upwards and clipped Dragonair due to its sudden burst of speed. However, Dragonair wouldn't even flinch from the attack.

"Quick! Araelia, Thunder Wave and then Slam!"

Just as Kaito had waited for Dragonai to slow down, Cynthia would wait for the pokemon to get close, and then slow down, leaving no room for escape. The moment Quick Attack hit, Dragonair would release a wave of static electricity from its body. Pidgeotto would be halted in mid flight almost, having to use all its power to stay airborne in its paralyzed state. However, it would not get the chance to do much else as Dragonair, still releasing the electricity of thunder wave, would curl its long body around and slam its tail right into Pidgeotto's back, hurtling it right back into the ground with tremendous force. It would soar like a bolt of lightning, static electricity following its decent as it crashed into the Earth.

Kaito: "Aeolus!"

*BOOM! She hit the ground hard, and was obviously out of this fight. Taking her pokeball, Kai threw it towards her, and put her back into the ball. Picking it up, kissed the pokeball, and put it back on his belt.*

Kaito: "Rest up well. Now then, let's do this Fus! You're up next!"

*Fus after hearing its name, ran out onto the battlefield. Striking its pose, the pokemon's aura flared up in a brilliant azure blue, and cried out, ready for anything that the Dragonair could throw. Smirking a little, Kaito wanted to see what the Dragonair was going to do next.*

Cynthia noticed that Kaito was waiting this time, letting Cynthia make the first move. Smart on his part, though Cynthia normally wouldn't indulge such an obvious tactic. But this was the first time Cynthia had battled a new pokedex wielder, and one with so much potential at that. She just couldn't help herself. Licking her lips, she widened her stance, a battle hungry look entering her eyes.

"My adrenaline is running sky high Kaito. This is getting fun!"

With Dragonair not knowing the ability 'Fly' yet, it could not remain in the air much longer and returned to a safe distance on the ground where it could hover without worrying about powerful air pockets.

"Araelia, unleash your might with Dragon Rage!"

Dragonair sucked in air before unleashing a blue stream of fire. The tip of the fire took on the visage of an angry dragon before streaming at Lucario.

Kaito: "Dodge it, Fus! Then get in close for a wicked Force Palm!"

*Fus was a lot faster than Aeolus. Seeing that stream of blue fire, it quickly sped off to the left with a Quick Attack, in an arc motion, running towards the Dragonair, who was hopefully still open for an attack. Charging its palm with a large amount of Aura, the Lucario came in, and was prepared to deliver the Force Palm right into the face of body of the Dragonair.*

Dragonair's eyes kept up with Fus as he dashed around the attack and straight at it. However, it wasn't fast enough to counter attack right away. Fus' Force Palm would strike Dragonair dead on, pushing the pokemon back a bit and dealing some decent damage as well.

"If speed is what you want, Araelia, Agility! Whip up a twister too!"

Cynthia was getting into the battle. One could see her breathing matching the flow of the battle itself.

Just as she commanded, Dragonair would begin to glow as its speed began to rise sharply. It sped upwards once more and began to spin at an even greater speed than when it used Twister against Pidgeotto. The whirlwind would cover an even bigger area and leave Fus with no room for escape. The twister would whip him with draconic energy, however, it wouldn't be very effective...

Kaito: "Tch... No no! Break free Fus using a powerful Metal Sound, then go in with a Bone Rush once you're free!"

*The Twister covered Fus, but it only softly tapped him. Gathering his composure, and shaking free, Fus would let out with a powerful Metal Sound that aimed to disrupt the balance toward the Dragonair, hopefully breaking the Twister. If all went according to plan, Fus would prepare his palms and get ready to unleash a Bone Rush attack.*

"Agility again and dragon tail!" Cynthia responded as soon as she heard kaito say bone rush. She wanted to play harD with him. The screech would give dragon air pause, however the agility would sharpen its speed and finally make it faster than lucario. Dragon air would launch down at fus as it prepared its dragon tail attack. With both set up the attacks would collide on the first hit. If lucario won the clash, his bone rush would go through. If not, he would take the full damage of dragon tail.

*Fus was feeling the pressure from the Dragonair, but thanks to the words of its Trainer, Fus continued to fight even harder.*

Dragonair would push forth as much effort as it could against Lucario, however, Kaito's call seemed to prove enough to unleash Lucario's inner strength.

With a mighty push, Lucario knocked Dragonair's tail away before vamping behind it and laying into it with a powerful strike that sent it upwards. Before it could fly too high, Lucario grabbed Dragonair's tail and slammed it back into the ground, reversing its upwards momentum. Then with a mighty leap into the air, the last strike of Bone Rush was delivered as a meteor kick that shook the ground and caused the earth to rupture right beneath Dragonair and Lucario, sending up a massive dust cloud that blocked everyone's view. However, Kaito's aura would allow him to see and Cynthia was able to see regardless of the atmosphere. Both knew the outcome of this battle.

KAITO INAKI IS VICTORIOUS!!



When the dust settled, Lucario would be standing over the fainted Dragonair. The battle was finally over and Kaito had somehow emerged victorious. Cynthia took in a deep breath and shuddered, her eyes shutting in bliss.

"That...was outstanding for the lack of a better word. I haven't had such a beautiful and fast paced battle with a pokedex wielder in such a long time, I almost forgot what it felt like. Thank you so much Kaito."

Cynthia handed over 1500 PK.

EXP Drop: 1800

*Kaito watched in awe as Fus managed to break on through, and deal that massive amount of damage towards Cynthia's Dragonair. The dust rose, and both Kaito and Shaker covered their eyes, but something in Kai made him open them. Seeing through the dust, he was able to see that Fus was still standing, and the Dragonair was soundly defeated. Eyes widened, Kaito just stared and was amazed by what just transpired.*

Kaito: "I won...?"

Shaker: "T-Tar?"

*They just stared, and when the dust settled, there stood Fus. All three of them were just as wide-eyed and surprised about all of it. It seems as though they took after their trainer quite a bit. All three of them just stood there, waiting for anyone to bring them back into reality.*

(Kaito-kun, I need to know if you've been updating your things or I won't be able to keep track of your pokemon's stats and such. Remember everytime you gain exp, you have to put it in your post. Don't forget to update your profile too. I know it's tedious, but it will be worth it in the end.)

Minami would pinch Kaito, seeing his stare of disbeliefe. It was all they could do as they all awaited his actual reaction to defeating Cynthia.

*After the pinch, Kaito tossed himself as high as he could into the air. Yelling at the top of his lungs, one could thing his vocal chords were about to lunge out and slap him. He was so happy, that started to cuddle Shaker uncontrollably. Fus ran on over, cuddled with the two of them, then Kai suddenly grabbed Minami, and let her join in on the cuddle fest as well.*

Kaito: "I DID IT! I actually won!"

Cynthia folded her arms and smiled, waiting for Kaito to remember that she was still there.

*Right after everything, Kaito ran forward straight to Cynthia. One would expect him to cuddle with her as well, but to be quite honest, he was afraid of doing that. Instead, he simply held in his excitement, and held out a shaking hand to her. All of that had him on edge, so he was a little bit hyper (yes, that's him a little hyper).*

Kaito: "Thank you for the match. It was intense!"

Cynthia would cock her hips, placing her hands on them as she took in how hyper Kaito was. It was all so invigorating to be around people like him again.

"Kaito, what are you planning on doing now? I have a very good feeling our paths are going to cross again sooner than you think."

She would look at both Minami and Kaito's sister as well, her battle high finally settling down.

"Oh, and before I forgot, take this."

Cynthia would hand Kaito a small pellet.

"It's a TM containing Dragonbreath."
