Exploring The Unexplored!

After making direct contact with her brick break Rai would indeed be grabbed and her body restrained, but that was fine be her. As soon as she had been bound she would call out to Ambipom.

"Use Agility again, Ambipom!"

And so she did so again, sharpening her speed for the second time while Rai sat in the clutches of the Dusclops. She would not sit without a plan, however, as she would focus herself, on her body, fortifying its defenses with the power of Tough Skin. That should have eased her suffering against her restraints.

Dusclops 'Bind' attack begins to apply pressure upon Rai as its hand squeezes fiercely against her body, attempting to crush her and cause pain for the time being. Luckily, with the Tough Skin, it wasn't much of a force that would cause her to scream in agony, but to be annoyed by the pressure herself. The Beckon Pokemon noticed the Ambipom boosting itself up and decides to halt its tactic completely. The ghost accumulates much power within its fist and attempt to struck it down with a powerful 'Thunder Punch'. In addition, if the attack strikes at the right moment, then the monkey would be paralyzed from the blow as well.

Quite the change of events seeing as how the Dusclops had released Rai and focused it's attention on her Ambipom. It must have finally felt threatened by its presence after boosting its speed, though it would hopefully be too late.

"Now, Ambipom, use Swift!"

With the amount of speed it had gained in the last few moments it should have been rather easy for the pokemon to initiate the attack with little time being wasted. With a swift flip into the air, Ambipom would spin around while releasing a multitude of glistening stars from its tail that were destined to hit the incoming Dusclops and collide with its active Thunder Punch.

Regardless if it had halted its actions completely or not, it would be presented with another danger almost immediately after the Swift had landed. It was one it should have been familiar with as a speedy figure approached from behind attempting to deliver a precise strike to its back with the power of a Mach Punch. No other could have done it than Rai herself.

A bold attempt that Ambipom did to use 'Swift' against Dusclops in order to halt its attack and counter right back at him. Unfortunately, without the monkey having 'Foresight' active himself it was a complete miss all together. The speedy stars swam right through him and Dusclops struck down Ambipom with an open shot of the 'Thunder Punch', dealing a powerful blow to the monkey and knocking it back. However, at the same time he was wide open for Rai's 'Mach Punch' from behind with a preemptive strike. The blow was a successful hit that it staggered the gastly Pokemon and dropped him on the ground thanks to the 'Foresight' that Luke used alongside her to maintain the ability to inflict damage to him. Dusclops get back up on his two feet and release a powerful roar to knock both Rai and Ambipom away from him in parallel sides.

A disappointing turn out for how things went, but a rather interesting and helpful observation for future reference could by made by Ambipom's attack. She'd have to dwell on the idea later however as they weren't outta the game yet.

Quickly, after being forced back from a rather powerful roar, Rai would be seen pushing of the ground to take firm stance yet she did nothing. She figured that she'd use this moment to rest up while shouting out to Ambipom once more.

"Come on Ambipom, we're not done here yet! Get back up and show this Dusclops what you've got with Astonish!"

Like Rai herself, Ambipom would leap to her feet with a firm stance, having a little bit more to shake off with that direct Thunder Punch. Regardless, she would continue onward to carry out the attack, using her increased speed to her advantage whilst screaming towards the Dusclops.

The battle continues onward with much strong intentions for both sides. Neither one was about to give up and only one shall fall into the depths of darkness. However, it wasn't going to be Dusclops at all. The ghost Pokemon spoke out with a bright glow on his eye, focusing its energy as it clench its fist once more before sharpening into a karate palm. The creature awaits for the duo to strike him.

"Since you guys love to use your fist so much how about I return the favor back to you!!"

Ambipom's speed was quite spectacular as it jolts sharply towards Dusclops and smack him away with an 'Astonish' attack, striking its weakness in a super effective way that greatly weakened its health down greatly. Yet, the beckon Pokemon struck its counter attack in response after the Ambipom. It hand fiercely chops down the monkey with one clean blow by using 'Brick Break' against him. The blow was massive to defend for the Ambipom which results in the Pokemon to faint from the devastating attack. One annoying obstacle out of the way. Dusclops quickly shifts his attention towards Rai and emits a large barrier around itself as a safety precaution.

"Damn..."

She would murmur as her Ambipom fell under the mighty blow dealt by the Dusclops' Brick Break. Still, her effort would not be in vain for she had delivered a fierce strike herself. Now it was time for her to rest.

"Alright Ambipom, you've done more than enough. Thank you."

With that said, the pokemon would be returned to her pokeball as Rai pulled out another. This guy was certainly a pain to take on, but Rai had a feeling it would be over soon as she summoned forth her Aron, Eos, right alongside her. While she may have been a bit inexperienced in the art of battle with Rai, she needn't do much since Rai figured she herself could do the finishing touches.

"Let's teach this pokemon to know who he's mocking with a Mud Slap, Eos."

And now all eyes were on their opponent. Rai charging in once more with her famous Mach Punch that followed behind her Eos' Mud Slap. It was truly the strengthening of teamwork.

The duo attack of Aron's 'Mud-Slap' and Rai's 'Mach Punch' would guarantee victory against the ghostly Dusclops. Unfortunately, their attacks would collide by a mysterious barrier that surrounds him completely and block the double cross attack. The early call of the 'Protect' ability saved its skin once more as it laughs menacingly at them both, charging up for a brief moment.

"I admire your confidence, human. However, this ends here!"

Dusclops slams it foot on the ground and created a massive 'Earthquake' on the ground, shaking and damaging both Rai and Aros with massive power of the dark earth around them. The impact was extremely fierce that it knocked both Rai and her Pokemon high in the sky and making them fall down from the impact. This should severely cause a fatal death if she doesn't react quick enough to avoid. As for Eos, however, the beginning of the earthquake struck him intensely.

Such a formidable opponent this Dusclops was as it pushed Rai and pokemon to the very edge. She didn't even think she could go on any longer for a moment, though the thought was quickly dismissed as the thought of her pokemon came into her mind. As like as she had them, who depended on them, she would never give up.

During that brief of charging Rai would use that moment to focus on he opponents movement, leaping up as the foot of the Dusclops with her fist pulled back and ready as she came down on him, her it bursting with energy all the while doing so.

"Eos, use Iron Defense!"

She never forgot about her partner in battle as she gave her the order. The damage done to the pokemon was staggering, but it would do its best to stay focused and curl up before hardening its body for the impact facing it below. This would be a scratch in comparison to what faced the Dusclops however with it staring done a fist carrying the raw power of a Mega Punch, threatening to smash it into the shaking ground beneath them. Now... it was all or nothing.

Dusclops grew tired and fatigued from this battle. Playtime is over and this final attack shall determine the outcome of the entire battle all together. He turns its focus towards Rai and charge towards her with all of its might and power into one blow. It's fist glow extremely bright with a dark and crimson glow as it lunge towards Rai, utilizing the 'Giga Impact' attack. Its between the 'Mega Punch' and the 'Giga Impact' collision to see the fate of the two. Based between both of their powers, it created a massive 'Explosion' as a result which knocked both of them back causing massive damage against one another. Luckily, a miracle came into play.

Aron rush towards Rai while utilizing 'Iron Defense' to reduce the impact for its trainer while sacrificing itself as a result. The power of 'Iron Defense' greatly helped soften the blow for Aron as well, causing it to critically faint, but at the brink of being deceased. The duo crash on the ground in great pain while Dusclops screams in terror, falling on it knees and on the ground. He pants deeply in agonizing pain as it slowly begins to chip away into the darkness. They all remained around in the darkness as it begin to speak.

"I've....Failed.....To protect the ticket....."

Truly a climax of epic proportions between the competitors of this battle today. On that would forever be engraved within Rai's mind until the day she perished.

"..."

She didn't know what had happened after the flash. Only that she had ended up a ways away from Dusclops as she climbed to her feet. The pain was truly horrific. She could just feel the broken bones inside her moving as she did, but it didn't stop her from pushing on. No, she would push on towards the fading Dusclops after returning her precious Eos to her pokeball.

"Forget... that ticket..."

She spoke with an unstable tone. It became more unstable the more she spoke and closer she got to the pokemon.

"You... can just come with me... and get medical attention."

"No, I cannot go with you....I'm bounded by the darkness and the oath until my master returns."

The Dusclops said painfully as the darkness continues to chip away its existence more and more. It eye fades from crimson red to a dimmed light that of a battery losing energy. It has already did its best to defend the property of its former master as much as possible. It reach out its hand towards Rai and spoke once more before fading into darkness completely.

"Please...Take care of the ticket and never lose it.....If....master is.....Give it to him...."

The very last words of the Dusclops. The environment darkness lifts up and returns back to normal. The bridges returns once more along the stairway. Victory given to Rai, but at a hefty price.

"No... Don't..."

The words were rough coming out, the sight of the Dusclops fading causing her to pick up in the pace. Sadly this would be to no avail as she clutched onto its outstretched hand only to find it slip through hers and into darkness.

And now this was the part where the despair took hold, buckled her knees and brought her to tears, but not now. She'd seen enough death in such a short time. Enough to where there was just no point to crying over it anymore. What she did do however, was silently promise to carry out its dying wish. It was the least she could do to honor its noble cause. Now, with the area restored, it was time to leave as she left the way she came in to the best of her ability in such a damaged condition.

As Rai leaves the Radio Tower, the darkness around it begins to fade away a mass amount of the fog within it, but keeping a lingering scent among it to keep the dark and ground type Pokemon intact to the inhabitant. Now the Radio Tower suddenly pings out signals around Luna Mountain Town and gain connections around the rest of the cities in Elestia. It appears that a curse was lifted from the tower and grants many communications and transportation routes to become viable once more. However, Rai will never forget about the battle of Dusclops and what he was fighting for.
