Arrival: Rising Sun

+On the horizon of Sunrise Town, came three figures. Two belonged to the two children, Turbo, and Kaitlyn. The other, belonged to Turbo's new pokemon buddy, Blitzkrieg. Entering Sunrise Town, Turbo was skating slowly with Kait, her hand in his. Blitzkrieg happily followed behind them. This place was just the opposite of Sunset Town. Instead of there being the ever setting dusk, this place was the ever set dawn, it was a really nice transition. Turning towards Kait, Turbo smiled softly at her, and took a small deep breath.+

"We made it..."

+He said softly. Blitzkrieg barked to confirm that they did, rubbed his head softly against Turbo's leg, then took point as he slowly walked forward.+

"Wow, it's bright here." Kaitlyn said in wonderment. The town didn't look too much different from Sunset, however as Turbo said, it was in everlasting Dawn. The surreal glow of morning put a small mist over the town that did nothing to hinder the bright rays of the ever peeking sun on the horizon. It only made the town seem as if it had glowing air; a sight that could be seen nowhere else.

The pokemon center was to their left, up the road. Right in front of them was a path that lead to residential houses, right along the main road. There seemed to be people out and about, seeing that it was well into the afternoon now.

+Turbo remembered the parcel that they were supposed to deliver, and took it out of his bag. Holding it carefully, he looked it all over. Up, down, side-to-side, diagonally. Whichever way he could look at it, he did. Only after did he stop his unusual observation, did he begin to take a look at the hustle and bustle of the small town. Turbo was taking in a lot of the scenery as possible, thinking of the wicked new areas that he could skate-up and stuff. A devilish grin formed on his lips, and he turned towards Kait with the grin intact.+

"Hey... Let's get this to the professor, yeah?"

+Sure the tone was soft, but the excitement could easily be heard. Blitzkrieg tilted his head toward its trainer's new found excitement, and was wondering what it was Turbo was up to. These two would need to spend a lot of time together, in order to get a feel for the emotions and quirks that they have about themselves. Quite the positive experience indeed.+

Kaitlyn nodded. "Whenever you're ready." She would reply before skating forward with all her might. It wasn't fast since their skates were still pretty cheap. But it was better than walking any day. The pokemon center was pretty close, so all they would need to do was drop the parcel off to Prof. Solara and then go about their business.

"Keep up slowbro!" Kaitlyn called as she turned and skated backwards. She didn't notice the guy walking out of the pokemon center with bright red hair and a yellow sleeveless vest on.

"Whaa?"

+Turbo said, obviously surprised by Kait's sudden jump into action. He should have suspected it, seeing as he was the excited one, but he did know she wasn't going to beat him to the center.+

"Lets go Blitzkrieg!"

+His little exclamation would sound like someone speaking in a normal tone, rather than a soft one like his. It was apparent he couldn't yell. In any case, Blitzkrieg barked and ran off toward Kaitlyn. Turbo would do the same, and kicked himself into high-gear. He wasn't about to let her show him up, but as soon as he started off, she was well near into bumping into another person.+

"Kait, behind you..."

+He'd say, going the fastest he can. Turbo would hold out his hand to her in attempt to quickly catch her, swing with a bit of momentum, and hopefully dodge the guy before any bumping could occur.+

Kaitlyn looked behind her, over her shoulder, just to notice the guy walking with three pokeballs in one palm. She yelped cutely before quickly grabbing Turbo's hand and letting him sling her around. The two would stop on the opposite side of the guy, whom stopped anyway to glance at the two, though he didn't show any surprise.

Red Haired Guy: "...Pokedex wielders?" He asked non nonchalantly after noticing the watches on each teens wrist. Then with a sly smile, the man turned towards the two. "Hello to you both. If you're planning to deliver that package to Solara, she may be in a bad mood at the moment. Might be that time of month."

Just as he spoke those last few badly chosen words, the pokemon center door slid open and a mace slammed into the back of the man's head. He fell forward, blood spraying into the air comically.

Female Voice: "Keep talking you asshole and I'll bury you along with your bullshit chivalry!"

Kaitlyn sweat dropped at the scene and clutched Turbo's arm just a bit tighter, pressing her small frame against him with a confused tilt of her head.

"Gotcha..."

+He'd say, spinning with Kait, and stopping on the opposite side of the guy. Blitzkrieg slid to a halt in front of them, and got into a little pouncing position. It seemed as though he didn't like new people, but Turbo crouched down, pet behind his ears, and that allowed him to ease up a bit.

The guy who they were about to bump into them, noticed immediately that they were pokemon trainers, but not just that, they were pokedex wielders. How did he know that? Turbo searched the guy rather quickly, trying to find any sort of pokedex on him. However, his searching was ended shortly when a flying mace came out of the pokemon center, smashed right into the guys head, and seemingly knocked him out cold. Blitzkrieg went over to the guy, sniffed him, then start to kick grass and dirt on him, as if comically burying him.+

"Um...?"

+He felt Kait push herself against him, tighten her grip, and saw as she tilted her head. That cuteness was seriously shooting through the roof, and the whole ordeal, despite how scary and serious it was, the cuteness made him blush slightly. Turbo was honestly at a lost for words, and simply just stared blankly at everything that was going on. However, he was still very eager to complete the mission, and gently tugged forward on Kait a little. He'd shoot her a quick smile, and a wink.+

"That must be the professor. Let's get this to her, maybe that'll cheer her up...?"

Kaitlyn listened to Turbo's voice and blushed as she realized how close she had gotten to him. She smiled while looking away however, before nodding in agreement.

Prof. Solara: "Oh, a Houndour?" After noticing the pokemon kicking dirt on the unconscious Eric, Prof. Solara smiled brightly, completely doing a 180 of her personality. She waved to Kaitlyn and Turbo. "Hey you two! Prof. Cresciendo told me you guys were coming! You made it here really quick!" Her voice was kind and almost calming. She seemed innocent, just like Kaitlyn. She pointed down at Eric with the same smile. "Sorry about the mess. Someone will clean that up in a bit."

+Blitzkrieg barked happily when called by his species name. It casually strolled over to the professor, hoping Turbo and Kaitlyn would do the same. Of course, Turbo started to skate forward towards the professor with Kait's hand in his. With the other hand, held the parcel that was supposed to be delivered to the professor. With a smile, Turbo quietly handed the parcel to her, then held out his hand to shake hers.+

"No need to apologize... I'm Turbo and that's Blitzkrieg."

+He'd say softly, while the young Houndour chimed in with a bark and happy tail wag. All of a sudden, Turbo found himself squeezing Kait's hand a little. He didn't know why, but as he did so, he couldn't help but feel a lot calmer.+

"I'm Kaitlyn..." Kaitlyn whispered in her low voice, the one she always used when around new people.

Prof. Solara: Noticing Kaitlyn almost hiding herself behind Turbo, Prof. Solara smiled deviously. "Oh, is your girlfriend alright? She looks a little pink." Solara giggled while taking the package.

Just as she said, Kaitlyn flushed pink, her hair raising just a little in physical shock and embarrassment before she took her hand out of Turbo's quickly and took a step away. "W-w-we're not..." She stuttered out, but Prof. Solara's laugh stopped her.

Prof. Solara: "I'm just messing with you Kaitlyn." Her soft voice was definitely a big contradiction to how she was acting right now. "Anyway, if you step inside, we can get your pokemon and everything else you need."

Prof. Solara seemed busy, judging by the slight urgency in her tone now. Kaitlyn hesitated for only a moment before the thought of going on their journey made her excitement return. She followed Prof. Solara into the pokemon center.

Before Turbo would be able to follow, the supposedly dead guy stood up and partially blocked his way.

Eric: "Yo, hold up guy." Eric flicked a finger to cause a flame to cross Turbo's path. "Have you guys heard of the Dark Descendants?"

"W-Waaaah?"

+Turbo asked in an embarrassed and cooled down tone. He couldn't let his cool lose its grip here. Instead, he just blushed brightly... Like a tree, then felt Kait letting go. Once she did so, he abruptly coughed, and started to scratch the back of his head with his right hand. Seemed as though Turbo was going to have to go into the lab with them, seeing as Kaitlyn needed to go get her pokemon. He was on his way to follow them, when stopped by the mysterious guy that he didn't know. The man asked him a peculiar question. Did he know about the Dark Descendants? Why did they sound like a homosexual Korean Pop band, that were most likely the straightest people on Earth? Blitzkrieg responded positively to the flame, but felt as though the act of causing it was a bit too forward.+

"...?"

+Turbo didn't like speaking with others in the first place. With the man being all direct and stuff, Turbo just shrugged his shoulders, put his hands into his pockets, then would allow the boy to explain himself. Turbo was actually feeling a little impatient, only because he was losing distance between he and Kait. Well whatever, they were in the lab, and they'd be alright.+

Eric grimaced a bit at Turbo's aloof attitude. It let him know that the kiddies hadn't heard of them. "Look, the Dark Descendants are some bad guys, and they'll be after you and your little girlfriend. They're hunting pokedex wielders. That whole fiasco in the forest a few weeks ago was because of them. I'm only telling you because Prof. Cresciendo and Prof. Solara don't have enough information about them, which is why the haven't told you anything. Jupiter is protecting both of them by keeping them mostly in the dark."

Eric held his head in frustration. "I'm just saying be careful and protect each other. Here, I was going to give these to Solara and Cresciendo, but I think they'll have a better purpose in you and Kaitlyn's care."

Eric would hand Turbo the two pokeballs he had been carrying. One was for Kaitlyn.

"Treat them right." Eric would say seriously before vanishing in a burst of fire.

(Eevee, Lv. 10. Choice of gender and nature.)

+Turbo's face soon grew with a grim and serious look. Was all of that true? Couldn't be... Right? Turbo was ready to dismiss it as the guy just being a little overdramatic, but the way how Professor Cresciendo had acted earlier, maybe there was a lot of truth to his words. Turbo was also ready to willingly believe it due to his want to protect Kaitlyn, if there were people out there hunting down pokedex wielders, he'd rather let himself get taken instead of her. Clenching his fists, Turbo looked toward the man with a fierce look, but was suddenly handed two pokeballs.+

"Hm...? Pokeballs?"

+Already figuring one of them was for Kaitlyn, Turbo accepted the pokeballs, and silently thanked him. Turbo also nodded and would treat the pokemon with as much respect as possible. After the man disappeared, Turbo's mind was left with the words of the man who controlled fire. There he stood, lost in his own mind, and thinking of what to do. Blitzkrieg soon grew worried of his trainer, and began to tap him with the little skull that was on its head. Turbo soon snapped out of it, placed the new pokeball onto his belt, then nodded to his Houndour.+

"Let's go..."

+He'd say, entering the pokemon center. Turbo figured to repeat everything to Kait the first chance he got. He needed to after all, he needed to let her know that there was some big danger, and that the Dark Descendants were the cause of some incidents back there in the forest.+

Just as Turbo was entering the pokemon center, Kaitlyn was exiting. It seemed they had gotten everything taken care of very quickly. On top of Kaitlyn's head would be a small black tan fire pokemon with flames sprouting from its back.

"Cynda!" The small pokemon squeaked as it saw Turbo and Houndour.

"Look Turbo! I have a new friend too!" She called excitedly. She was also holding an arm full of items. "And Prof. Solara gave these to us for bringing the parcel!"

Sidequest Complete: 1 pokeball, 2 potions, 1 revive, 400 pk, 150 exp rewarded. (Exp is total. You can give it all to one pokemon or split it between several.)

+Turbo's face would have looked very troubled if Kaitlyn she saw it in time. in truth, he was very troubled, but seeing her with her new pokemon and arms full of goodies made him smile just a little bit. When her little pokemon cried out, Blitzkrieg barked several times out of happiness. Turbo threw up a snapping thumbs up (similar to the thumbs up Zero does in the Megaman X series).+

"Looking nice. Now you're officially a trainer... What's the little one's name?"

+He asked softly. Shifting views between Kait and her pokemon. Turbo would help lighten the load on her, by taking the items meant for him, and putting them into his pack. After he did, he remembered the pokeball that odd fire controlling guy gave to him, and handed it to Kait. Smiling a little, he wouldn't tell her what it was (because he didn't know what it was), and knew he'd have to speak with her about the Dark Descendants.+

"That red haired guy wanted me to give you this... Its a pokemon. Also..."

+His voice hung low with a hint of distress in it. Turbo wanted Kait to pick up on this quickly, simply because he wanted to alert her of the danger immediately, and so they can keep themselves on guard.+

"We have to talk..."

"Her name is Flair!" Kaitlyn called excitedly, having completely missed Turbo's initial expression of trouble. After exchanging items, Kaitlyn would smile even more brightly while letting out the pokemon that was in the pokeball.

A small female Eevee burst from the ball. Before Kaitlyn could comment on it however, she noticed Turbo's change in demeanor.

"Talk? About what? What's wrong Turbo?"

The worry in her voice was evident. Even Eevee, whom had no clue what was going on sensed a problem and instead of excitedly seeing whom its new trainers were, simply sat and listened. Cyndaquil's flame lessened slightly as it felt its trainers mood change as well.

+Turbo honestly felt bad for bringing down the mood. She had just gain her pokemon, and another new one, but here he was bringing in the bad news. However, he needed to speak up, he needed to let Kait know that there was danger. Looking up, then into her eyes, Turbo took a deep breath, then began to speak.+

"That man we almost bumped into? Yeah, well he told me something startling..."

+Turbo began from the beginning, explaining how the man cut him off from the rest of the group at the pokemon center. Then he explained that the man spoke about the Dark Descendants, how they're supposedly hunting after pokedex users, and how they were the cause of the incident in the forest some time ago. Lastly, Turbo told Kait of how the other two professors (Solara and Cresciendo) because of Prof. Jupiter holding the information back from them.+

"...So yeah, that's pretty much what happened. I know it sounds farfetched, but... When I heard that there is a big potential danger, I had to let you know only because I want to protect you, and because I..."

+His throat was growing dry. In it, there was a lump forming. Turbo's lips quivered, the pupils in his eyes shrunk, and his face was becoming flushed. Gulping down the lump and regaining some of his courage, he looked at Turbo with his eyes burning with a passion.+

"Because I love you, and just want to make sure you're safe!"

She listened intently at what Turbo was saying and even found herself getting a little depressed near the end of it. However, Cyndaquil's warmth and Eevee rubbing against her leg kept her from crying on the spot. She smiled and prepared to tell Turbo that a challenge was all this was, but when Turbo spoke his last words, Kaitlyn's heart skipped a beat.

"T...Turbo...I..." Her words caught in her throat as she saw the burning passion behind his gaze.

This time she couldn't hold it in and shed her tears. Without another word, she threw her arms around Turbo and buried her face in his chest, the height difference making it easy. Cyndaquil dropped down and landed on Houndour's back softly.

"I...I love you too...so much. And I want to protect you too! We'll be alright, as long as we stay together!" She nuzzled into his chest.

+That was a big move, just throwing his feelings out there like that. However, the feelings were heeded and received with a rather positive response. Kaitlyn jumped into his arms suddenly, and began to nuzzle his chest. Smiling and blushing, Turbo wrapped his arms around her, and squeezed her. He wouldn't let any harm befall her, nor her pokemon. Speaking of pokemon, when Flair landed on Blitzkrieg, he let out a small noise, but honestly didn't mind in the end. He just looked up at the two, confused, but happy with their feelings.+

"Kaitlyn... Even with this challenge ahead of us, with our love, our power, and our partners, we'll overcome and bring all our obstacles down."

+His heart was beating fast due to the emotions and situation. Kait may have been able to feel his beating too. Turbo was beginning to sweat a little due to how warm he was getting, and how brightly he was blushing.+

Kaitlyn nodded, still unable to stop her tears from falling. She had always wondered what Turbo truly thought of her, and this revelation was more than she could have ever hoped for. The love she felt towards him and from him was enough to set the world around them aglow, and she felt as if she could accomplish anything when they were together. These Dark Descendants and whomever else would come their way would be nothing but stepping stones on their path to greatness.

"Turbo...everyone...let's go! We have a long journey ahead of us now!" She spoke with as much determination as she could muster in her embarrassed state. "I'll go wherever you go, Drache-kun." Kaitlyn whispered to him, using his real name to show her affection.

(You take lead now.)

+Turbo gently wiped her tears, his own eyes watering and releasing small droplets of tears. He held her as close as he could, relishing in this moment as them acknowledging each others feelings, and now using their love to topple everything in their path. Turbo had big dreams, big dreams indeed. He knew exactly what he wanted to do, and he wanted to do it with Kaitlyn.+

"Lets take down the league..."

+He said softly, after hearing the fiery determination in her voice. That's right, the Pokemon League. Turbo knew that meant having to go to all of the cities, training in the gyms, in the wilds, anywhere they could to grow stronger as trainers. Physically and mentally, they needed to train along with their partners to form an unbreakable bond. With all of this in mind, Turbo released his Eevee, that happened to be a female. Smirking and nodding at it, it seemed as though they were ready to go.+

"Welcome to the team..."

+Turbo said to his Eevee, and she mewed out, followed by rubbing her head on all of the team members present. It seemed like she was a chipper pokemon, and loved everyone. Chuckling a little, Turbo softly took Kaitlyn's hand into his and squeezed it. When she whispered his actual name, his face flushed to a complete red, his hands were getting a little sweaty, and he was at a complete lost for words. What it now looked like, was that they were going to go through the forest once more, and head over to Dusk City, while doing some training along the way. Turbo would leave out of the Pokemon Center with Kait, his pokemon following behind him with a jump in their step.+
