If the two continued on, the repel would do its job at keeping the wild pokemon away. Soon the two would be heading down stairs, and then around a corner since the other paths were either blocked by giant rocks, or could only be traversed by surf. As they made it to the first turn, they would have two choices before them. Their was a path heading West where a machine could be heard churning about. Down the path, a boy stood wearing a black outfit with red chains on his pants. He was leaning against a wall with his arms folded. He only looked to be around 12 or 13 years old.

"It was nothing, Media. Don't worry about it."

Luke would say while still feeling a bit of the pain from the tackle. As they continued and came to the path with the option of South or West, Rai would look to the boy and listen. After he spoke she would turn facing the path West as she was intrigued with the sound of the machine and wanted to know what it was, though would turn to Snow.

"So... Which one would you prefer?"

She would say while awaiting a response.

Snow looked down the West path and his eyes narrowed as his arm began to burn in pain. He growled and instantly took off towards the younger teen.

"You! You're one of the Dark Descendants aren't you?"

He growled out, and without waiting, he went for a punch at the unsuspecting persons face. At the same time he barked out an order.

"Media, Confusion!"

Media's palms would glow as well as her eyes and she would cup her hands before unleashing a large beam in the form of confusion as if performing a kamehameha wave.

The sound of a machine would grow louder as Snow approached the unsuspecting teen. Because of it, the teen wouldn't look up until the last minute as Snow yelled at him. When he was punched, he stumbled back and then he was hit with the confusion blast, knocking him into the wall. He would be hurt bad by the double dose attack and when he tried to stand on his feet, he would be obviously disoriented, being afflicted with the confused status.

The trainer would attempt to jump back away from Snow, and throw out his pokemon. But if he couldn't do to being confused, he would simply smack his school against the stone wall behind him and get knocked out, not answering Snow's question at all.

Just as stated, the confusion would be too much for him and he would hit his head on the stone, getting knocked out cold. The pokeball would slip from his hand and the pokemon he had been about to release would come out.

The Panpour would look around and then notice its unconscious trainer. It would shake its head in disappointment before taking a fighting stance against Snow and Media.

With everything happening so fast Rai would be confused for a bit. It was only until Snow had punched that she taking in the fact that the young man was one of the Dark Descendants. Even in their short time together Rai had never soon Snow even hint at such anger, but now wasn't the time for that as the Panpour had come out of its ball and was prepared to fight.

"Luke, use quick attack!"

Rai shouted as Luke would obey without hesitation, charging at the Panpour full speed.

Snow cursed under his breath. He hadn't meant to knock out the Descendant so quick. But when the Panpour decided to attack, he would be ready. He didn't notice Media suddenly trying to get his attention. She would quickly halt Luke and Panpour, straining her psychic power to halt both of their movements. However, Luke's quick attack would hit faster than Media could stop. If the pokemon wasn't fainted, Media would explain the situation to the two pokemon that could understand.

"Luke-kun, wait a moment! Mr. Snow wants to find out about the Dark Descendants, and this Panpour is one of them!"

She looked at the Panpour.

"Now you! What are you and your master doing here? What is that strange noise and where is it coming from? If you don't tell us, I'll let Luke-kun practice his strikes against you!"

Panpour was knocked against the wall, taking critical damage from the quick attack, but it would survive. It was starting to struggle to its feet before Media suddenly froze its movements.

"You might as well kill me! I won't say a word to your our your man whore."

Panpour suddenly smirked, even if it couldn't move.

"How about ditching the little brute whore for a real woman, Riolu-kun?"

(Persuasion rolls. Get the information out of Panpour without fainting it. All you have to do is persuade her to talk, and depending on what you say, a roll will be made to see if it worked or not.)

As Luke struck the Panpour he would be quite surprised at the fact that his movements were halted though as he heard the reason for doing so he would nod. He hoped that Media would release him after this action. Luke would listen carefully as Media spoke to the Panpour yet it did not seem to do much in accomplishing their goal. He would grow angry however at the Panpour's words but, as he thought to himself he would keep his cool and speak himself.

"Listen, how about you just tell us what we need to know, alright? Then we can all just go our separate ways peacefully. Doesn't that sound like a good idea?"

Luke wasn't one to be so hostile in getting what he wanted, though it would be unwise to put the idea behind him.

Media had already released Luke, and awaited Panpour's reply, though she had half the mind to just snap the pokemon's neck at her comments to him. But apparently Riolu had ignored them anyway and didn't seem to make any gestures of being effected. She wondered if Riolu even remotely felt anything about herself. Meh, if not, she would get him to. She had a naughty nature after all.

Snow was scratching his head in confusion. The pokemon were having a conversation and Media wasn't fainting the Panpour. Realizing that she was trying to find answers, he smiled and looked at Rai.

"Sorry about running ahead like that. I got a bit carried away. How are you feeling, you've been really quiet since we've entered the cave. Hope I'm not boring you."

Panpour would sigh heavily, not really in the mood to fight against the two. It knew it was outpowered, especially since she couldn't fight effectively without her trainer.

"Fine. We're here to make all the pokemon go crazy. That's all I know. Why, who knows. The generators throughout the cave are what's causing it and there's one right around the corner here. There, can I go now?"

She would've folded her arms if she could.

"Boring? I wouldn't exactly call this a boring experience."

Rai would say to Snow. She didn't mention anything about him getting carried away with his actions and hoped it would just blow over. Though she was thankful that she was being accompanied by someone who wasn't afraid to fight himself.

Meanwhile, hearing the plan of the Dark Descendents told to them, Riolu would take up an expression of anger and disgust for only a moment. He wondered how someone could do such things to Pokemon. Disregarding the Panpour altogether, Luke would turn to Media and speak.

"We have to do something about that generator, Media."

(Just found out we have more features on the pokedex than we knew. :3 I'm going to post them somewhere, but for now, the pokedex allows you to translate what your own pokemon are saying so you can talk to any pokemon that you own.)

As he listened to them talk, he became a bit embarrassed at not having anything interesting to talk about with Rai. Instead, he began to mess around with the pokedex/pokenav on his wrist. Suddenly a digital image of Meditite popped up and the last few words that she said echoed through the pokedex.

"Whoa, that's new!!"

Media hadn't noticed yet and when the Panpour finished speaking, she grit her teeth. When Riolu said they had to do something about the generators, she was already nodding and feeling for all the locations of the generators in the cave.

"You're scum and you don't deserve to get off as easily as we're letting you! Be glad we don't kill you right now!"

Media called and then used her psychic ability to slam Panpour into the wall behind it, knocking it unconscious.

"Whoa, wasn't that a bit harsh Media?"

Media squeaked, blushing and turning to face her trainer.

"You...you can understand me?"

"Yeah, it's a function on the pokedex I just found. Pretty cool huh?"

Media's face shown joy, completely replacing that rage that had just previously consumed it.

"That's awesome Master!"

She cried and jumped up to give Snow a hug.

The Panpour would hit its head and get knocked out right alongside its trainer.

Afterward, Media's psychic scan would only show the two closes generators in the area. One of them was right around the corner from them, the Dark Descendant they had defeated guarding it. The other was a bit farther ahead down the path they were walking on.

Watching Snow stumble upon the translator function on his Pokedex, Rai would look amazed. She had no idea that the Pokedex could do such a thing and would try to find it as well. While fiddling with it herself she would she would eventually find it as Luke began to talk.

"Alright Media, I'm ready to search for them whenever you are."

Luke would say. He would then immediately turn to Rai and walk over next to her not knowing that she could understand what he was saying.

"Hey, it does work. I can understand everything you say Luke."

Luke would look up at Rai.

"You can? I thought you couldn't understand me? But that doesn't matter now. We have to destroy those generators."

"Generators?"

Rai said with a look of confusion. Luke would then go on to explain the situation they were in by what the Ponpour had told him while waiting for Snow and Media.

"Right Luke-kun."

Media called.

"Luke-kun?"

Snow asked, a knowing smirk on his face. It was funny to see her crushing on Riolu, but now it would be absolutely priceless to hear it. Media blushed and hid her face in her hands.

"Shut up! I-It's just a friendly term of endearment in Japan!"

"Yeah, used a lot from girls who like-"

"SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!"

Media cried, placing her small hands over Snow's mouth, her entire body glowing red. One would think she was either evolving or a shiny pokemon. Snow just chuckled, thinking how much fun it would be to tease his pokemon. As well, he looked at his pokedex with a whole new respect for it. This one feature could mean the difference between a mutual friendship and a lasting relationship with his pokemon. It was a marvelous invention and he couldn't help but wonder who was smart enough to invent it. (FORESHADOWING!! lol)

"Alright, let's go see about this generator they're talking about."

Snow said and rounded the corner, stepping over the unconscious form of the Dark Descendant. (Just realized, Kaito and Minami killed one of them. I'm going to leave their fates up to you from now on. XD)

As the two would round the corner, there would two items laying on the ground, right next to the rumbling machine that was the generator. It was large, standing at about 12 feet tall and had two large pipes running through the top of it, one going left and the other right into the cavern walls.

There was a red panel on the front of the machine. It was glass and seemed to peer right into the core of it.

Generator HP: 40. Destroy it in 3 turns by rolling 1D20 each.

As Snow and Media took off around the corner Rai and Luke would swiftly follow, leaping over the fallen Dark Descendant member. Things were now getting exciting for the pair as they rounded the corner and saw the Generator, but first noticed the Rare Candies. She would kneel down and pick them both up and throw one to Snow while standing back to her feet. The sight of them made her smile though it was stripped away at the sight of the Generator.

"Whoa, that's it?"

"Yeah..."

Luke replied, feeling even angrier now that he had actually saw the machine causing pokemon to go mad.

"Alright then, lets take it out. Luke, use Force Palm!!"

She said as Luke began to run at the machine immediately after the order. His fist would glow with power before he got close enough to strike the machine directly.

"There's another generator farther down that last path. But I don't think there are only two generators..."

Media said as she dropped down from Snow's hold and didn't wait for an order. They knew what needed to be done. Media conjured up the confusion death beams again and fired them off at the red panel on the face of the machine.

"What type of bastards are these Dark Descendants? And why would they be trying to make the pokemon go crazy in here anyway?"

"The only way to find out is to beat them all until they come clean!"

Media growled.

After smashing into the machine, Luke would jump back a few feet and watch as Media attacked it as well. He could see that the machine was pretty banged up already but it was still functioning. Hoping that another few attacks should do it in his fist would charge once more before his fist would glow again as he ran forward and struck it. The feeling of damaging such a thing brought him great satisfaction.

"Just a little more Media."

The Meditite floated upwards, cupping her hands again like she had done before. However, balls of energy began to surround her before congregating over her. She smiled as she had never used Hidden Power before. She felt her natural energy of soul helping power up the attack.

"Witness Power!"

She called and flew forward into the panel of the machine. the congregating energy around her body expanded outwards.

The generator would explode instantly as Media's hidden power blew it to bits from the inside out. The pokemon would be blown back out at Snow, the reckless move surprisingly not fatal to itself. The generator sparked a bit more before the bottom half also blew up, pushing the small group out of the little path and caving it in, the cavern shaking as the rocks tumbled down. They had narrowly escaped a tomb.
