Sunrise Town: Holy Crap I'm Somewhere Else Than My Room!

D'Raven and the EPIC LEGENDARY FISHERMAN continued to converse with each other until they've reach Sunrise Town. The blissful sunlight streaming its rays down with a small orange aurora in the outer view of the town and lake. The reflection of the sun actually resembles a brand new day every single time someone visits the town. D'Raven eyes widen as his mouth opens up in an "O" fashion with a tear running down his right cheek. The sight of it was just astounding.

"This is Sunrise Town? Its very bright and beautiful just like the Live Action Show."

Juno, his partner, felt the same way as him as his crocodile mouth open up happily with his beady eyes twinkling at the sunlight.

Sandile~! Dile! (This is amazing!)

"Yep! Nobody knows why it's like this though, but most people ain't complanin'. Well, it was nice chatting with ya D'Raven. If ya need me, I'll be in my house right up the road that way and to the left."

The EPIC LEGENDARY FISHERMAN left D'Raven to his own accord for now, but at least D'Raven would know where to find him if he had any questions.

(D'Raven is in Free Roam Mode.)

D'Raven would wave goodbye at the EPIC LEGENDARY FISHERMAN, smiling lightly for the small encounter with each other. It felt extremely wonderful chatting with a very famous person without being his weird neet self.

"See you later, EPIC LEGENDARY FISHERMAN. I'll try to visit you soon."

D'Raven looked around Sunrise Town some more, taking a small tour around the area with Juno trailing right by his side to see what it has to offer. Suddenly, both of their stomachs begin to grumble from the time they've been traveling and battling. He would get an anime sweatdrop on his head as he chuckles embarassingly.

"Looks like we're both in need for food, Juno."

"Sandile~!"

His partner agreed with them as they began to wander about trying to find a place where they can eat and rest up.

The town was a decent size and there were people out and about enjoying the day. As D'Raven walked around, he would see a cluster of houses and near it would be a large building that said 'Battle Hall Gym'. Closer to where D'Raven had entered the town would be a small art museum.

Oddly enough, the people of Sunrise Town weren't as clued in on what was going on in the Twilight Forest. At least, not yet. As D'Raven would be passing by the pokecenter, a Police Motorcycle would be parked out front. (Even a Neet would know about the pokecenter. Commercials and even advertisements in Video Game magazines. XD) Even from outside, D'Raven would be able to hear a few murmurs coming from inside.

(( Hunger gets the best of anyone to not make them think. xD ))

D'Raven's hunger overcome his sense of thinking about the Pokemon Center being a stable resting spot, making him and Juno passing by it. The Sandile, however, recognizes the place and tugs on his pants leg a few times to notify him about the place. He would look down at Juno.

"What is it, dude?"

The crocodile shook his head to the left twice to show him the Pokemon Center. The trainer looked at the building which had a white bottom and red top coating that resembles a Poke Ball. In addition, the logo is a large Poke Ball as well. D'Raven would remember seeing these in every single video game, anime, etc.

"Ohhh yeah! The Pokemon Center! How am I so stupid to pass by this?"

The stomach grumbles once more.

"Oh yeah, stomach hunger. Let's go get some food and help you guys out."

The two walks in the Pokemon Center and curiously looks around. The interior exactly reflects just like the ideas. He would hear some voices going around inside as well.

Inside the pokemon center would be a small group of people crowding around Nurse Joy at her counter. In front of them would be an Officer Jenny speaking to her while trying to settle the crowd down.

"Please, everyone settle down! I will answer all of your questions 1 at a time! Please, return home until there is more found out about the situation if you have already asked a question!"

For some reason, the pokemart was closed. Nurse Joy looked really flustered at the crowd and Officer Jenny was starting to get a headache. A few people obliged and left, but there was still a good six people up at the front.

"Where is Bruno? How come he isn't doing anything about this?"

One of the people yelled.

"Bruno is not allowed to intervene with this situation under law of the Pokemon League. Please do not blame him!"

The amount of people crowding up the nursery desk where Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy were at made D'Raven place a sweatdrop over his head. Unaware about what the heck was going on, he would try to stray away from the angry mob as much as possible. However, he won't be able to cater himself and his Pokemon into aid without asking the nurse.

"Looks like we've walk into Black Friday or something. Why are they asking for Bruno, anyway?"

He took a seat on the bench sofa and waits until the crowd dies down.

After several more minutes of crowd control, the group of people finally left out. As they were dispersing, a man with red hair that was spiked towards the back walked in. He wore a white jacket with the front open, showing off his well toned six-pack and black skinny jeans. He had a cigarette in his mouth and shook his head with a sexy smirk.

"Yo, Joy-chan, Jenny-chan, any good news?"

He asked as he walked in. For a moment, his eyes landed on D'Raven, but it was only for the faintest of seconds. He stopped at the counter and leaned his back against it. Both Jenny and Joy had blushes on their faces when he spoke.

"Hey Erik. Sorry, no good news to report."

Jenny answered him. While the two talked, Joy saw D'Raven.

"Oh, sorry about the wait sir! Welcome to our pokemon center, how may I help you?"

D'Raven began to recall how many video game systems he had to Juno to pass the time about. He is actually quite the gamer that has been around several tournaments in Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Mario Party, and other classic games.

"I have the Nintendo 3DS, which is quite badass for the Pokemon games and the puzzle games. However, I really do enjoy the PSP. Not the Vita, that is a piece of crap that isn't like the forefathers."

Juno's facial expression reveal a half-closed eyes expression with a mild remark on his crocodile mouth. All he is hearing coming out of D'Raven's mouth is "Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah yak yak yak yak."

His attention would quickly catch eye of Erik walking in, but would only recognize him as another person going to question Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny. So he went back to talking about his games to Juno. The Sandile really wish that his Lonely nature was changed into something else right about now. Afterwards, the trainer caught word of Nurse Joy.

"Oh sorry. I didn't want to burden you guys with anymore trouble like that angry mob."

He got up and Juno got off of his lap. The two walks toward the desk counter nearby Erik.

"I was wondering if there is any more rooms available for the night. Plus, if my Pokemon can rest up as well."

He would attempt to take off his Poke Belt, but is struggling to even get the first part of it off. Moments later, he got it off completely...

"Aha!"

....But his pants would fall down to the ground and reveal his Taokaka boxers. Blushing extremely red, he'd quickly pick up his pants to cover himself and place the belt on the counter. Laughs nervously and embarrassingly .

"Sorry about that. Still new to this whole Pokemon Trainer thing. May I ask what was going on earlier?"

The three people would watch D'Raven fumble with his belt and then sweatdrop as his pants fell down. Suddenly, an Erik from a different dimension would pop his head through the ceiling.

"Giggity!"

He called before vanishing.

Hearing his question, Nurse Joy frowns and Officer Jenny sighs, about to repeat what she had just told the group from earlier, however Erik cut her off.

"Hey kid, that's a pokedex isn't it?"

Erik asked, pointing to the pokenav device on D'Raven's wrist. Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy look with surprise at D'Raven. Jenny looks even more saddened by the news though as she is one of the higher ranked Jenny's that get to look into important stuff.

D'Raven would look at his Pokenav Watch and tilt his wrist slightly a few times, looking at it for a bit and nodding back at Erik. It was quite surprising that he knows about the Pokedex also.

"Yes it is, sir. I've got this with my starter set for my journey from being a neet."

He then notice the surprised and saddened face of Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny. Those kind of looks only tell misfortune among several different levels of Tetris. He would smile for a brief second before it drops back into worry.

"That's bad, isn't it?"

Jenny nods at D'Raven's question.

"Since you have a pokedex, then you're directly involved with this. There has been several cases of disappearances in the Twilight Forest in the past week. Out of those disappearances, 95 percent of them have been people with pokedex's. We believe whatever is taking people in the Forest is mainly targeting people with pokedex."

Erik scratched his neck.

"Oddly enough, those that disappeared in the Forest that didn't have pokedex were only children between the ages 8 and 11. But you can freak out about all of this later."

Erik stretched and yawned, heading for the door. He had a smirk on his face, regardless of the dark news they had just relayed to D'Raven. Joy and Jenny frowned.

"Erik...don't brush this off."

Jenny scolded him. Erik just shrugged.

"We won't get much more done tonight. Let the kid rest and then we can let him know the full details. Kid, when you're ready, come see me. I'm in the house closes to the Forest."

With that, Erik left. Joy sighed and was a bit reluctant to admit he was right.

"Sir, if you need a room, the Vacant Room board is over there."

She pointed to a rack that had keys on them that indicated vacant rooms. Trainers usually didn't have time for pleasantries so were allowed to just come and take a key if a room was free.

D'Raven carefully listens to what all three have to say about the recent outburst earlier along the reason behind it. His face sharply shifts into shock from hearing about trainers with a Pokedex just like him suddenly disappears without a trace. This throws up the red flag in his head which says "Game Over" on it. The very first day of his entire life that he is forced to prove himself to be useful in this world will also be his very last. He gulps painfully and begin to whimpers in his mind as well while listening to them.

"Oh god, D'Raven Alistar. What have I signed up for? Why do I have to become fresh meat for those creepy people?"

However, that wasn't the latest of the disappearances. The sudden child abductions did strike his interest as well. Why were the children disappearing as well? What the hell is wrong is this world? All D'Raven could say out of his mouth is:

"I should have stayed in my room today..."

The incident is indeed quite scary and life threatening to D'Raven. However, this is an opportunity to prove himself that he can become useful in his life for once. That is if he don't chicken out in a split second. The scared trainer spoke out with a few shivers in his tone with a fraidy-cat feeling.

"S-s-s-sure thing, p-p-pal."

He nod and bow to both Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny before going to the stand to grab the key and head to the vacant room. He would plop down on the beg once entered and sigh in great depression.

"I am soooo dead!"

D'Raven falls asleep from the tiring journey.

Battle Hall...

Bruno was on the 8th Level of Hell in meditation, the flames and heat around him making him sweat but his focus was not disturbed. The sound of someone entering the red lit room surrounded by lava made him open an eye. The only other person in the Town able to survive the 8th Level of Hell's heat was Erik, and he never came that deep unless it was important.

Bruno: I sensed you'd come.

Erik: ...No you didn't. Stop quoting stuff that you recorded for video games just to sound cool.

Bruno: (Chuckles) Very well. What is it Erik? You never come this far down unless something is terribly wrong.

Erik: Yeah...we've got another one. A pokedex wielder.

Bruno: ...

With a sigh, Bruno stands up, his bulging biceps and muscles gleaming with sweat. His shirtless form seemed like it was chiseled by gods.

Bruno: What do you plan to do? We know it's the Dark Descendants in the Forest but our hands are legally tied to not do anything.

Erik: Yeah, our hands are tied but his aren't. I know it's risky, but if we help the kid out, maybe he can be the one to stop whatever the hell is going on in there. I don't care about the Elite 4's rules, I won't stand by and let children die and innocent people get hurt.

Bruno takes a moment to think about what Erik was saying. The Elite 4 had been being really strange in the past year. They were starting to take less and less action when it came to things happening around the region, and things were starting to get out of hand. Maybe Erik was right. Even if it was against the Elite 4's wishes, they needed to do something or things would just continue to get worse.

Bruno: Fine. But what do you plan to do with him?

Erik: (Smiling) I'm going to tell him the truth about everything. Jupiter thinks that the latest pokedex wielders that he sent out on their journey's are going to be the key to changing the Elestia region. This kid, D'Raven is one of them. I believe him. I believe they really will change the region.

Bruno: But change it for good or bad?

Erik paused at that question. That much, he hadn't thought of...

(The Next Day)

The extremely bright rays of morning would come almost as if they had never left in the eternally bright town of Sunrise. A Blaziken would blow fire into the air with a roar to awaken everyone in the town before leaping off into the distance to continue being awesome. On top of that, an alarm clock on the side of D'Raven's bed would blare.

"The Wheel of Fate is turning! Rebel 1! WAKE UP!"

In terrible engrish.

The bright gleaming rays of the sunlight would blare through the window where D'Raven sleeps. He wakes up with a disgruntled groan from it and close down the blindfolds to keep the room dark and dim. He then went back to bed and yawn happily to have some extra time to sleep. Until the alarm clock blast out its terrible Engrish to wake a sleeping person up. A random shattering sound plays as D'Raven wakes up with bloodshot eyes from the alarm and slams his fist on it, breaking the clock completely. He groaned once more while mumbling in his half-sleep form.

"lahgkhgkljsyalgkah....I'm up, world."

He yawn and stretched out on the bed as he prepared himself for the daily routine just like back in his own home in New Moon Town: Gaming and Anime!

"Alright, world. Time to pwn some n00bs in a game of Touhou Fighting Champions! Come at me, br-"

D'Raven realized that he is still inside the vacant room of the Pokemon Center where they only have a flatscreen TV, but barely any cable nor gaming console unlike his home or the other rooms. This results into him being a very sad neet with a heavy frown on his face.

".....Damn...No place like home...."

He said in a very sad tone while getting out of his bed and into the bathroom, stripping down his clothes into the bare nudity while turning on the radio. The music shall cheer him up if its isn't any bullshit rap music.

DJ: "Welcome to Teh Teckno Zone! We play nothing but nonstop techno, hardstyle, electronica, dubstep, and house music all day long! Our next song comes from those two awesome people that gave us "One More Time", "Human After All", and "Voyager". Give it up for Daft Punk old school title, "Da Funk"

"Oh snap!"



Throughout the entire song, D'Raven danced to the beat of Da Funk while washing himself with the beat. He remain inside the shower for the entire of the song until the song did a look and used it to dress himself up with the beat. All freshened up and cleaned out to the fullest, D'Raven walks out of his room with all of his gear packed up and ready to go while Melbourne Shuffling out of the room. A refreshing shower can greatly boost anyone morale past their peaking limits.

"Awww yeah! I'm ready to take on the world now!"

D'Raven is still in free roam mode...

"Good morning!"

Nurse Joy called to D'Raven, a half smile on her face. She wasn't really a morning person, not like many people could tell what was morning in this town anyway.

D'Raven would greet Nurse Joy with a nice wave and bow, but also recognize her half-sleep state from the smile she was given. He would walk to the counter and smile lightly at her while rubbing the back of his head.

"Heh heh. Looks like I'm not the only one who isn't used to the morning as well, huh?"

Even thought with the energized shower and Daft Punk music, D'Raven is still tired because he's not even used to being woke up early in the morning. Let alone, any time in the morning. However, he did let out a few light chuckles to help out their morning sickness.

"Did you sleep well? Also, how is my Pokemon?"

"Your pokemon are fully healed. They're in the back playing Blazblue right now. Except for Sandile. For some reason he doesn't seem to like video games. He did get into my stash of Gurren Lagann videos though. Seems to like Kamina and Simon a lot."

Nurse Joy suddenly slapped her hands over her mouth, not meaning to reveal that she was secretly a closet Otaku. She blushed brightly before rushing into the back room and coming right back with all of D'Raven's pokemon in their pokeballs. However, Juno's pokeball now had shades on them, resembling those of Kamina.

"Uh, hehe, you should probably go see Erik now! He wanted to speak with you."

D'Raven's facial expression would reveal a very goofy one from hearing Nurse Joy's comment. It appears that he's not the only otaku in his world after all from his encounter with society. The Young trainer bite his lower lip with a big grin and eyes nearly closed while looking at her.



"Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me, comrade."

He said happily and shyly at the blushing Nurse Joy while taking his Pokebelt and equipping it back onto his pants. He noticed Juno's pokeball with Kamina Shades until Juno himself burst out with the shades on and a cape over its back. It struck a manly post just like the hero itself.

"Sandile~!! Sand! San! Dile!" (Pierce the Heavens!!!)

"Today is a damn good day!"

He would bow to Nurse Joy while giving her a playful wink towards her. Seeing another otaku boosted his morale twice as much today.

"Thanks for the help, Nurse Joy. I'll go see Erik now. Take care."

He walked out while waving his red jacket over his head and into a cape form just like Kamina. The trainer and the Pokemon left out of the Pokemon Center in their style of badass similar to Gurren Lagann. Their travels starts off by heading to where Erik have told them about his whereabouts.

As D'Raven approached the forest, he would see a small blockade put up with Officer Jenny talking to Erik. Erik looked back as he noticed the younger boy walking over.

"Yo, glad to see you came. D'Raven, this is Officer Jenny, Jenny, D'Raven. He's a pokedex wielder as you already know."

Jenny: Yes, we saw last night. Well D'Raven, it's a pleasure to meet you. Erik here has told me that you were entrusted with that Pokedex by Prof. Jupiter, right? If so, then you may be one of the only few people capable of doing something about the strange disappearances in the forest.

Officer Jenny went on to explain the situation, telling him that mostly children had been disappearing, and that it was only happening near the NorthEast part of the forest. Then Erik stepped in to explain to him that he was sure that it was the Dark Descendants. But he didn't know what they would be doing with children in there.

Bruno: I can tell you.

The Battle Hall Champion walked over in all his shirtless glory.

Bruno: They are after the Twilight Shard. An item capable of closing the hearts to pokemon and turning them into Shadow Pokemon. It's safe to say, it may not be just limited to pokemon.

Erik and Jenny gasped at that revelation.

Bruno: D'Raven, if Prof. Jupiter sees you strong enough to wield the Pokedex, then he must know that you have a destiny far greater than even your parents know. You and your Sandile will pierce the heavens! We need you to take that first step into seeing what's going on in this forest. You do not have to accept, but we would appreciate it if you did.

Erik looked at D'Raven and held up a hand with a pokeball in it.

"Here. Even if you do or don't decide to help us, I'm sure you can use this little one."

D'Raven walk towards the blockade to meet up with Erik and Officer Jenny. He would place two fingers on his forehead and tip it off to greet them in his own manner with a light smile on his face. His morale is quite enthusiastic for him to enjoy the day and ready to take on the issue that he heard from yesterday.

"Hey, everyone. I gotta do something about this issue. Can't just let this go out of control."

D'Raven listen to explanation to get a full understanding on what he is about to walk into. When the Dark Descendants were mentioned. His morale suddenly drops back down to zero with his happy smile turning to a scared smile. He remembers Prof. Jupiter mentioning to him about the Dark Descendants chasing down those who have the Pokedex. This includes himself as well because he has one too.

"D-D-Dark Descendants? Oh lawd...I'm public enemy number one to them..."

Out of nowhere, D'Raven would hear an unknown voice and turn around to see who was speaking. He realized that it was Bruno, The Battle Hall Champion. The young trainer only seen him on TV shows, video games, and magazines. It was is first time seeing him in real life and oh boy this guy is absolutely huge and ripped. I mean, you can grind meat with those abs! Compared to D'Raven's physique, himself doesn't even match up to Bruno's level. D'Raven, do you even lift??

Hearing the revelation of what is actually happening in the Twilight Forest, D'Raven took note of it and slowly began to regain his morale back. The vision of seeing innocent children and Pokemon tainted in corruption by the Dark Descendants by using the Twilight Shard made him sick to his stomach. The morale speech that Bruno gave him spark determination and willpower to the scared neet. His facial expression shifts into a determined and hopeful answer while letting out a nod towards him.

"Don't worry, guys. I'll help out with this situation. I don't want to see anyone else disappear and become tainted by those Dark Descendants."

D'Raven would notice Erik holding up a Pokeball to give him as a gift, regardless of whether or not to help them in their request. He let out a light smile and accepts the offer. He took the Poke Ball and inside popped out a fluffy and cute Pokemon. He would smile brightly from it.

"Ooooo~! A fluffy pet!"

He picks it up and begins to pet it gently. The little Eevee smiles and nuzzles back at him. His Pokedex begin to explain about what it is and shows some detailed stats.

Pokedex: "Eevee, The Evolution Pokemon. Eevee is a mammalian creature with brown fur, a bushy tail that has a cream-colored tip, and a large furry collar that is also cream-colored. It has four short, feline-like legs with three small toes on each foot. Eevee has brown eyes, long pointed ears, and pink paw pads. It has traits of rabbits, Miacids, foxes, dogs, and cats. Thanks to its unstable genetic makeup, this special Pokémon conceals many different possible evolutions."

He played with the Eevee some more by scratching the back of it ears. He'd then nod to it and returned it back to the Poke Ball to prepare.

"Since I'm going to solve this riddle, I might as well prepare myself. Be back momentarily."

D'Raven headed back to the Pokemon Center to visit the PokeMart.

Entering the pokemon center, Kaito would notice Nurse Joy reading an issue of Shonen Jump with a pair of glasses on her face. Thunder would flash as otaku from all over the universe suddenly began dropping out of time displacement portals.

"OHMAGAWD! SHE'S A GAMER GIRL IN A NURSE OUTFIT WEARING GLASSES READING ANIME!! AAAAAAAAHHH! IT'S TOO PERFECT! MY EYES! MY BONER!!!!"

Suddenly the epicness blew everyone back to their own dimensions while Nurse Joy just turned the page to her magazine as if nothing had just happened.

The pokemart gate would open, revealing the same clerk from Sunset Town, Ken.

"What do ya want?"

He called rudely. Nurse Joy finally looked up from her reading.

"Oh! Ken! When did you get back? How is sis doing?"

"Shut the fuck up mom, gosh! I'm trying to work you stupid bitch!"

Nurse Joy flinched at his outburst and held back her tears. She looked down and silently went back to reading.

At first, D'Raven thought he saw several dimensions ripping the sheer fabric of space, time, and reality to go orgasmic over Nurse Joy being an otaku. He wipes his eyes for a brief second and all of a sudden, the portals were gone. His mind must be playing tricks with him again. He shrugged it off for a minute and went to the PokeMart to only be introduced by the rude guy named Ken.

"Oh boy! Here we go!"

As soon as he seen Ken did an incredible outburst with his mother Nurse Joy, he would flinch at it and blink a few times. His voice sparked out the same rudeness just like Ken while requesting some items.

"Well fuck you and your disrespecting ways, dude! Give me two of those damn potions, jackass!"

He spoke up for Nurse Joy from the terrible way her son was doing back at her. Probably karma that may take effect?

Ken was about to get up and hit D'Raven until he noticed the pokenav/pokedex on his wrist. His eyes widened and he suddenly shut his mouth. There was anger in his eyes, sorrow, rage, but it was of a different variety. Instead of arguing back and forth with Raven, he instead went in the drawer and gave D'Raven his two potions. He electronically took the money and instantly pulled down the suicide doors of the mart, officially closing it down. A door could be heard opening and then shutting from the other side, making it obvious that Ken had already left.

Nurse Joy would let out a sigh and then go into her back room, closing the door and locking it. The pokemon center, for the first time ever, had officially shut down!

D'Raven's facial expression would be a confusing one all together. The closing of the Pokemart and the Pokemon Center was quite the double whammy for him. He blinked twice before slowly stepping backwards out of the building. I guess karma works on both ends? Whatever! In other news, D'Raven runs off towards the Twilight Forest to begin his investigation on stopping the Dark Descendants from corrupting anymore children and Pokemon.
